Stocks on the rise in the UK today. Compiled by Dow Jones Newswires Markets Desk, markets.eu@dowjones.com
0856 GMT [Dow Jones]--Jefferies upgrades its investment recommendation for Hays (HAS.LN) to buy from hold, and lifts its price target to 180p from 165p. Lifts its FY16 EPS estimate by 5% to accommodate more optimistic projections for U.K. white collar wage inflation, the Australian recovery gathering momentum ahead of the key seasonal permanent trading period, plus the recent acquisition of Verdus leads them. Jefferies also expects GBP350million of special dividends between FY16 and FY19. Hays shares +1.4% at 142p. (gary.stride@wsj.com)

Less impressive if you look at the actual numbers not the pretend lfl numbers (if there wasn't a currency headwind).
Clearly the market has not been overwhelmed as now dropping to 12 month low , but have to see in the context of market weakness.
I am still not buying back in , but few more pence might persuade me.

Results very good, and confirm that the fall was overdone.

"This is a strong financial performance, and we are ahead of
schedule in terms of our aspirations to broadly double the
Group's
operating profits by 2018. I am also pleased that our excellent
earnings and cash performance has enabled us to increase the
dividend by 5%.

This is still over-priced at a forward P/E of 20, despite the growth, and was due a fall. STAF or HVN are much better value for example.
I'd buy back in if it falls below 100.

Predicted pretax of 140M for full year ., 18% up on last yr looks solid enough ; presumably the market was wanting more.
And yet the brokers consensus was 125-135.
Maybe I am missing something , otherwise I shall be buying back in here if it keeps dropping .
