09/12/2016 11:05 | Timmnet, you must be one of the current incompetent management team!! | goodoldays
09/12/2016 09:48 | Really not interesting. Not sure why some of you lassies are on this thread. Can't you just push off to some Havelock disgruntled former employees' club? | timnet
09/12/2016 09:35 | Who would have the confidence to take this on as a private company, with all the financial risks that would be involved. Definitely not the existing Management !!!! | goodoldays
09/12/2016 09:01 | When they get in a management team that can deliver.no point in this being a listed company, better to do all of this away from the spotlight. | neverforget
09/12/2016 04:07 | The same old same!!!! When are they going to sort the problems once and for all. | goodoldays
08/12/2016 13:27 | Its taken over a year to realise Robert Wallace is not a estimator. Its taken 3 years to realise Farooqui is not salesman. Gillian Jenkins keeps changing roles and presides over a department that can not deliver and has failed to deliver. When will Ritchie start to take control, get rid of these incompetent over paid time wasting idiots. Hire professional people and get Havelock back to being a decent company. | truthful tommy2
08/12/2016 07:13 | Whilst hve bumble along it looks like sty continue to impress When will Burgess realise this company is full of bumbling idiots | neverforget
30/11/2016 10:38 | FYI. The significant shareholders table (and News) has now been updated on the HVE website. | timnet
25/11/2016 12:27 | Is it possible to start using real names instead of DF (Farooqui I assume?), CK, MH, GJ, etc.? It would make a lot more sense to those of us who aren't (ex) employees. | gargoyle2
25/11/2016 10:15 | I still think we are blaming the delivery team too much as they can only deliver what has been brought into the company, maybe they could do a better job but can anyone tell me what work DF has brought into the company, for sure it wont take CK very long to count it. | savvysurveyor
24/11/2016 10:16 | STY are a forward looking company who keep their fingers on the industry pulse. The management are predominately from an interiors delivery background, most importantly they keep the management team lean to avoid large overheads. They are also not burdened with a large manufacturing overhead. HVE have never known if they are a contractor of manufacturer, hence the constant conflict between the two areas of business. A few days ago someone posted that this kind of comment was like " pub chat" that person should realise that the cause of the problems are Management/People driven, the result is the share price. Therefore I think these discussions are extreemely relavent. I am both; an Ex employee and a shareholder of many years. Havelock over the past few years have sold off all their assets which resulted in no significant improvement to the share price. It is my opinion that they now have to deliver or face extinction, time has run out. | goodoldays
24/11/2016 08:01 | Truthfully Tommy2, I agree with your post. I just remember that during the management of MH, turnover increased, profits increased, the client base increased which resulted in bonuses and dividends being paid. RL was supposedly fixing ESA but achieved nothing. | goodoldays
24/11/2016 07:23 | Nothingbutthetruth. Aviva was GJ she had control. The fact that she used a QS who had a broken ankle and was house bound for the duration of the project. The fact she was instructed to go to site once a week and ignored it. The fact she was told of the potential problems. Shows the lack of judgment that has carried on through the years ahead. The Co-op, RBS, Virgin, Yo-Sushi, all were the responsibility of GJ. What is the forecast for the first quarter of 2017. When you make 25 redundancies at the end of 2016 from the factory tells, me you don't have a lot. | truthful tommy2
23/11/2016 17:25 | thanks timnet - I guess it would be quite in keeping for it to be out of date :p | gleach23
23/11/2016 17:12 | gleach23 I don't think this table has been updated from the last RNS (14/06/2016) for AB: Havelock Europa PLC has been informed that Andrew Burgess today sold 100,000 shares of the Company at an average price of 13.08p as a result of which his residual holding is 6,904,785 shares, representing 17.92% of the issued share capital. ........unless he's been buying back again, but shouldn't we have been informed about this? | timnet
23/11/2016 11:53 | thanks for the info neverforget...good news re AB not selling but someone clearly is as a large share overhang apparently remains. one can only sell 1000 shares online (£80-odd worth!) whereas there are plenty available to buy, with online bid and offer both at 9p Going by the info on the company website it could be one of a multitude but there have been no recent RNSs that I can find to suggest which one - Shareholder Name % Holding Mr Andrew Burgess 18.18 Clayhill Overseas 8.95 Barclays Bank PLC 8.06 Hargreave Hale LTD 6.52 TD Direct Investing 4.56 R Patterson 4.47 Charles Stanley 3.45 Rath Dhu LTD 3.05 E A Prescott 3.01 UBS AG 3.00 | gleach23
22/11/2016 12:15 | been told ab is not selling. also been told in his head 18 months from appointment of Ritchie his belief is 18 months is enough time to see improvement. if none then again wont be hesitant to change. shareholders are being treated like mushrooms. | neverforget
22/11/2016 10:45 | The waffle on here is akin to pub gossip ! AB Controls the shares and the company and its chance of success or failure by not releasing his holding. Seems like Havelock still need to clear out a few of the highly paid Directors milling around waiting for D Day. Seems we are all indefinitely waiting around as shareholders and not a clue what to do. | tocsin
22/11/2016 10:27 | Anyone know if one of the major shareholders is gently offloading shares, why we're not getting an RNS which informs us of these reductions? | timnet
21/11/2016 19:16 | RL took over from MH when he left. The loss of Coop, RBS, including Aviva, the reduction in HoF spend including the biggest HoF disaster at White City, Yo Sushi all happened during MHs watch. The list of clients apparently lost Boots, HoF, M&S, Tesco, Virgin, Lloyds if they have been lost why are Havelock still delivering for theses clients during 2017? | nothingbutthetruth
21/11/2016 18:57 | no denying thought thzt the company continues to underperform. It has been an underperformer for years. I thought Ritchie was going to get this right. but seems to be about talk and no action. Going to speak to AB again this week. Got some questions anout what his intentions are. Last time I spoke was about 6 months ago and was pushing for some strategic review. the board obviously hasn't done it. Still dont know why this wasn't delisted. pointless being listed. dont think pd was ever a friend of ab. he got rid of him! | neverforget
21/11/2016 18:52 | neverforget...i think you'll find truthful tommy will be a little evasive on the subject as he's claimed to be both an employee of 30 years and just a supplier on this board in the past... These handles are all new and they come across as employees but could all be the same person...filter button in overdrive for me. | gleach23
21/11/2016 15:16 | Until the main Havelock board acknowledge they have a problem and when they do acknowledge and then act and then get rid of the incompetent departmental directors and then hire the correct competent staff. Will Havelock start the long road to recovery. PD was the last sales director hired and worked under Eric Prescott. MH was the delivery director / managing director type, before Eric Prescott. | truthful tommy2 |
