11/10/2016 13:36 | Someone seems to be nibbling with 10k buys @ 9.25 despite the quoted market offer price of 10p. The max I can sell online is still 1500 shares so looks like an excess supply remains. | gleach23
05/10/2016 09:21 | That's the plan at the moment... | gleach23
05/10/2016 08:52 | Best to wait till it gets to 8p then?... | diku
05/10/2016 08:42 | Well there's one reason for the weakness - an entirely predictable late trade reported of 130k @ 8p Can still only sell a max 1500 shares online so still weak | gleach23
03/10/2016 09:42 | Mildly surprised how subdued this has been since the interims, given the hints of a turnaround and the performance of peers in the sector. Was considering a top up but there's currently no demand for the shares - I can't even get a quote online to sell the modest punt I had the day before the results. I wonder if Mr Burgess is creating an overhang? Keeping a close eye. | gleach23
28/9/2016 11:05 | Lots of other shares to invest in apart from HVE but good luck all. | capricious71
27/9/2016 12:56 | yes, I am most upset by the tone of their replies TT :-) | reallyrich
27/9/2016 11:57 | Its great to see the English language used so well, and that the art of debate works so well. The design department is a loss making entity always has been. Has never been able to match estimated or cost targets against jobs. They are more space planers than designers. Suggestions some time ago was to out source this function. The two previous times Havelock had a London office it ended in financial disaster. Prescott may have been a lot of things BUT he never lost the biggest account Havelock had. That was lost on Richie's watch. | truthful tommy2
27/9/2016 11:49 | And I really hope I am wrong when the next set of figures come out. It would be nice to see this do well. | reallyrich
27/9/2016 11:03 | Ha ha i really wish you were here and said that to my face. You all seem to be very sensitive about this so i will let you be and sob over your losses. | reallyrich
27/9/2016 08:11 | Well the fact that they made the point several times that such cost savings ARE filtering through to the bottom line suggests you've not read the RNS reallyrich... unless you know better of course? Since we are talking about facts lifted from the results, I liked the one about gross margin improving by 25%...oh and that was partially due to the improved business processes implemented in the last year ;) I think mikepompeyfan summed it up with Doh. | gleach23
27/9/2016 07:54 | Pointless talking with you. I was pointing out statements made by the company. Regardless of first half or second half the cost savings implemented over the last 18 months don't seem to be filtering through to the bottom line. It's not my fault you are losing on this you muppet | reallyrich
26/9/2016 21:29 | we will see. anyway the market must think this a stonking buy as can be seen from the dramatic increase in share price, not! | reallyrich
26/9/2016 20:50 | Doh. Early 2015 is year end. They're always in debt at half year then swing to break even or net cash at year end. Now is half year as neverforget says. It will change again by Jan 2017. | mikepompeyfan
25/9/2016 14:55 | Was going to take a decent position in this but again the results are poor and the debt is going up and up. I really don't like the statement saying a small increase in debt (it's actually 500,000 or 16%) now it's 3.6 million. Statement from them about debt in early 2015 Business debt free as at 31 December 2014 with net cash at bank of GBP1.4m, offset by Hire Purchase ("HP") and leasing debt of GBP1.2m. (2013 net debt:GBP0.3m It means cashflow stinks Not a de-ramper just facts GLA | reallyrich
25/9/2016 14:44 | check tt2's profile - only joined advfn in Jul 16 and has only ever posted on HVE his first post starts with 'worked for havelock for over 30 years' lol...best filter the not so truthful numpty | gleach23
25/9/2016 14:01 | No hidden agenda You will always reduce the operating costs and overhead costs when you reduce the work force. The high public sector is schools. Check out the governments agenda or policy on future investment. Big difference between Havelock and SW | truthful tommy2
25/9/2016 13:26 | You're very selective with your repeated words though tommy, which suggests you have an agenda. You ignore positives like - The operating loss, before tax, was more than halved in the period to £0.7m Anticipated overhead reductions achieved, with further savings being identified and realised The drive to simplify and standardise the business has resulted in strong margin improvement against H1 2015 Higher Public Sector volumes offsetting reduced Corporate Sector and Retail and Lifestyle demand Developed new Retail and Lifestyle customers in the period, growing a significant pipeline of opportunities David Ritchie, Chief Executive Officer of Havelock Europa, said: “I am pleased to be able to report that, largely due to the actions we took last year to right size the business and standardise business processes, the business has benefited from strong margin improvement which has led to a significant reduction in the first half loss compared to last year. In addition, strong demand from the public sector has helped to offset weakness in retail and the expected downturn in the corporate sector.” | mikepompeyfan
