16/12/2015 13:47 | My question would be what have the non execs done except work for the bank and I included you AB in this comment.the share price is where it was 5 years ago and all that has happened is the best bits have been sold off. | neverforget
16/12/2015 13:40 | Sorry meant to post that delist should not scare anyone - it means that you can save money on non execs, listing fees, NOMAD's and PR companies. Overall a significant saving for Havelock with its £3m market cap. Gg | greengiant
15/12/2015 10:31 | I believe the TSB framework announced by Styles is the same one as the Lloyds. The 5 to 2 was where Havelock got released from the framework. Disappointing as it is it is good to see management taking action on reducing staff levels. Unfortunately the ex management team did not get to grips with what the customer wanted, nor where the market was going. Something that is being addressed through David, Ciaran and Peter. BTW - a delist doesn't scare me and could actually be good for the business. Something that may come up in the future no doubt. gg | greengiant
15/12/2015 08:05 | Speak to horridharry and you will hear that they don't even have a clue about what is happening in their own factory. Best thing for this business is to delist. | neverforget
15/12/2015 07:43 | Thanks for the last link neverforget. One of the major problems just looking at the figures on that last link was the number of staff compared to other firms, and bearing in mind the drop in t/o between the years, the number of staff has not reflected the drop in sales. Clearly showing they do not have a clue where the button is let alone putting their finger on it to start rectifying the problems imo. | clocktower
15/12/2015 07:17 | Shows that it is Havelock and not the market not the customers. Havelock need to have a good long hard look at themselves because they are very good at making excuses but not at addressing the problems. This shows companies are growing. Not here though | neverforget

09/12/2015 07:57 | Neverforget I would love directors to buy shares and the person who I have entrusted my shareholdings to has and is a significant holder ( Peter Dillon). Of course it is right that management should be rewarded for performance- Eric you could argue was for failure- an error that has emptied the EBT. Also consider that the company can no longer issue shares for 2 reasons 1) below par 2) they don't have shareholder authority Until performance improves, they will not have authority, therefore issuing options is a non question because the individuals cannot exercise them. Primary importance is improving performance and with the addition of Peter, (together with David and Ciaran) they have the foundation to do this. All the best Andrew | greengiant
08/12/2015 16:25 | If directors both exec and non exec had an inkling of morality then they would buy shares in Havelock. the very fact that they still continue to sit on there hands tells me that the shoxks have still not finished. the point is that Havelock cannot afford another. Poor showing from an non exec team who have been happy to get money out for 5 years with a couple of thousand £ share buy. These are scavengers of the highest order who have added nothing except decline to this company and who have been happy to take there hand outs every month not to mention give that idiot Prescot 1 m shares. SHAME ON YOU!!! | neverforget
25/11/2015 07:18 | well I must have a lie down. this simply cannot be true. a director buying shares? does he know that this is a most unusual practice? is he allowed to do this? Maybe all the other directors will now break rank and actually put their habds in their pocket! what a boost for poor shareholders who have seen people take a wage and be given options without ever having to take the financial risk. Come on Ritchie and Kennedy if AB thinks you are that good prove us wrongand buy some yes actually buy some. | neverforget
24/11/2015 18:44 | Now we know who was buying yesterday. Let us hope that other members of the Board follow suit. | mesquida
24/11/2015 08:30 | Unless of course your the recent and current buyer gg, Good Luck, then you would or are the market force at present. :-) | clocktower
24/11/2015 08:13 | No idea, all I can state is my support for the current management team who are doing the right things. Other than that, I, like all others am at the mercy of market forces. gg | greengiant
24/11/2015 00:24 | why does everyone assume gg has all the answers. He is losing more than we all are! | boll
24/11/2015 00:21 | There was very little the current management team could have done about this so whilst I have taken a hit I have full confidence in any actions that have been or will be taken | boll
23/11/2015 16:43 | Good to see a bit of buying interest here today. | mesquida
23/11/2015 08:17 | Accessorize are the one they have just recently done some work for although mostly trial jobs. This is expected to increase next year. Word has it that another of the big banks has a job in the system, its the one with light blue and white. | horridharry
21/11/2015 10:11 | What new customer? | desman
20/11/2015 14:06 | Hopefully they'll announce it like the lost customer and resettle us all ? | tocsin
20/11/2015 13:35 | Maybe not all dead at Havelock ;o) One customer out another one in. | horridharry
18/11/2015 07:59 | I wonder how much was in the budget for next year. 14 m in 2015 implies it could be significant in 2016. Will they need to raise more cash? One to watch I feel as a recovery situation but will hold fire until impact on 2016 becomes clearer. | amt |
