You keep mentioning a placing is coming, do you know something we don't?

There is always the possibility of loaning money rather than a placing. That'll mean no dilution needed. It's easier to borrow money if you have revenue.

Not what any of us long term holders were hoping for I would say. But it could have been worse. There was quite a bit of bargain hunter buying throughout the day which shows some confidence in the stock. Much harder to short something that bites back!

Looking at the chart since the big rise last year it appears someone is regularly dumping - or going short. If it's shorting I think they must be way underwater and trying to force (and now talk) down the price. Mr McMasters has repeatedly said there is no need for a fundraising so why should we doubt that? Mr Miers has said the company will need funding during 2017. Well maybe, unless the cash starts to roll in and if that happens there will be no need for extra funding. Then the shorters will disappear like rats up a drainpipe, closing their shorts and dragging the price to new highs. I can't quite understand why anyone would play such a risky game - unless they are already short up to their necks..

not judging by that 275k sale at the end at 15.25 - not the start of the week I was hoping for :(

Not sure Kreature. But why start producing stonemeal if they aren't even allowed to sell it?

I don't see how there can be sales here until the stonemeal is registered and certified with MAPA. Would that not take time ? MAPA say (translated) 'inputs' MUST be registered for sales and marketing.

Charles,

It MIGHT be forward selling in advance of a placement, rather than shorting per se.

If so, they would know the placing price, so by forward selling (naked shorting) at a higher price, they are guaranteed a profit when they cover their short by taking up the placing. ( NEW was a perfect example!).

This happens often on AIM, and it's what people like Vince Cable call "liquidity in the market".

I call it legalised theft/

Yeah definitely seems that people are shorting this stock. A bit of a dangerous game considering. Although like you say, if you know a placing is definitely coming, then you can't really lose in the short term.

I'd like to see an RNS land confirming a nice amount of revenue, and that they don't need to raise money in the short to medium term. That would get the share price moving up very quickly!

A few people are expecting a placing here. I can't be sure but personally I don't see the need for one.

If they are now producing and selling a product the company will have money coming in. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but there are around 12 million warrants that expire end of May this year. If they all get taken up within the next few months that will put some cash in the bank. I can't see them being left to expire when the exercise price is about 8.8p!

Soul,

Exactly what I was thinking!

Just shy of 2 million traded today already, only two higher volume days in the last 3 months, 2.7 million and 2.5 million.

Average daily trades over that period was 570,000, so certainly something going on somewhere.

I hope it's not forward selling.

All I can think of is the new shares being sold. Couple of bloody holding rns's wouldn't come amiss either !

There could be a placing imminent or the rumour of one being imminent (despite there being no placing in reality). This is AIM, PI's get spooked very easily and MM's capitalise on it.

Could even be a major shareholder selling down.

Who knows.

Andy it's amazing how certain posters appeared anytime of the day over the last few days and yet now there is something to talk about they are absent.

In cahoots with their paymasters they have done a job for whatever reason. I doubt we have seen the end of them.

Not such a good one, and no comments here.

Looking at the fall, I wonder if a placing is imminent? There's no negative news to justify such a fall, and there has to be a reason.

Yes of course.

There may be two separate Mitons from what I can see (Miton Group, and Miton UK MicroCap Trust, see the RNSs). Anyhow it all seems so horrific to me. What are the chances of a hill next to the main road and next to the coffee farms having some plant fertiliser value? If the cottage industry has been trying to fool me then they can ef off. Sadly AIM is not properly regulated in my opinion. Best of luck.

No that is not what I am saying at all Andy. I do not mind you interjecting when you have a relevant point. The interjection was alluding to me being worried which I am not.
Anyway let's bury the hatchet and move on.

Soul,

So, just to clarify, are you saying that when you converse with someone on a BB nobody else should ever interject and offer an opinion?

In otherwords, all your conversations are exclusive to just one person? And presumably you won't be interjecting in other people's discussions either? Is that correct?

I'm only asking because on a discussion board I've never heard of that before, I thought all discussions were general and open to everyone to contribute towards.

So you should be happy he's talking the price down.

An analogy about voting and weighing machines springs to mind....
