07/11/2016 21:59 | Yes, indeed: big and with political influence :-) | saucepan
07/11/2016 21:57 | Saucepan, And to expand that thought, the coffee grower would be a big player, and that is the step to the rest of the licences. | janestone
07/11/2016 21:25 | Personally, I had a bit of a “lightbulbR What I myself had thought would be the biggest risk factor going forward, was convincing farmers to try and use the product. I have a background in development and perhaps the picture in my mind’s eye was of a barely literate small farmer who would take quite a lot of convincing to try something new. However, what I realised today when HMI confirmed its trials with a coffee grower, is that we are almost certainly not (in the main) talking about small barely literate farmers with small plots, but mega agro-businesses who are going to be enormously switched on and street savvy. Presented with hard university data as to the efficacy of the product and easily grasping the huge cost savings compared with imported products: they are surely going to quickly jump for a better/comparable and crucially much cheaper alternative. | saucepan
07/11/2016 21:23 | janestone - good answer and this is I believe how it will be done. I remember an earlier interview where selling by the lorryload was mentioned. Each lorry takes for example 10 tons of fertiliser and delivers within a 150 kilometer radius of Maximus, charges the farmer $500 a load and takes $50 for delivery. I believe that could be the basis of the starting plan. From little acorns the mighty oak doth grow... | charles clore
07/11/2016 20:59 | Andy HMI are a new company, and no one is going to sign an offtake agreement and let go of their current supplier until they're sure of delivery, and as the coffee tests will perhaps show, and of the product. Smaller farmers don't sign offtake agreements though, and if the price is right then they'll buy in the meantime. | janestone
07/11/2016 19:38 | Andy If they have no market why would you be in a rush to hire another excavator to mine more material and increase the size of the storage pads? What would be the point for it just to sit there on the storage pads? | soulsauce
07/11/2016 19:31 | Noticed this drilling round has been a lot more extensive than the last but has taken in some holes around the periphery and also the kimberlite. Should surely double the current resource but there could be some surpises in the results especially regarding the kimberlite. Be exciting come mid Jan. | soulsauce
07/11/2016 19:27 | Janestone, Nice reply, thanks. | andy
07/11/2016 19:27 | wh12, If value is here it will come out in time. If the price drops that is an opportunity for you to top up, or for new investors to climb aboard the train. Both are positive long term. If people buy because the price has fallen, it will rise again. People are right to express doubts if they are sincere, I doubt they will start trial mining in November, but I have no doubt they will start at some time in the near future. Once trial mining starts, the numbers look compelling, my only question is do they have customers signed up for all the offtake yet? And if not, how long do they expect that to take? All genuine questions, no agenda. | andy
07/11/2016 19:14 | Gosh, just in from work and its the end of the world - HMI price not doubled today! Several people seemed glad to put doubts in shareholders minds yesterday and today - please sell your shares as I'm happy to buy more - obviously the cheaper the better! Only a small shareholder 115k shares (all paid for) and happy to wait and see company grow next year. Comparisons to SXX are irrelevant to me as its future annual profits will be immense when up and running so good luck to their shareholders. I'm just happy to hold and increase my holding in HMI when the opportunity arises. Good luck to all, and happily awaiting the permit | whl2
07/11/2016 19:03 | Kreature: So where's this Placing eh? Don't tell me you were wrong and the rest of the BB were right. That would be too much of a shock to bear. | ieh fan
07/11/2016 18:23 | Andy We've both been on these boards for years, and I rarely filter people, as I like to read all sides of information. And so I'm not going to filter you, because I sometimes agree with your comments. But discussions are two sided and I'm happy to make observations and to correct misinformation when it suits me, as are you. Discuss away..... | janestone
07/11/2016 17:25 | janestone, If you don't like my posts just use the filter button. Shame discussion boards used to be for discussion.......... | andy
07/11/2016 13:26 | SXX still has a near £900m market cap as one has to take into account of the underwritten placing at 20p and its bonds, which will convert at 25p. | janestone
07/11/2016 13:20 | Yes Charles it was only a matter of weeks ago that SXX was touching £1bn. | soulsauce
07/11/2016 13:16 | Is this person for real? Justify the market cap he says? There are companies out there with market caps multiples of HMI's very modest £17.6m. Sirius for example has a market cap of £543m and won't produce anything for years whereas HMI is very very close to production. The troll should go and make mischief on the SXX thread where it is justified! | charles clore
07/11/2016 12:48 | fair enough....'help justify' - good luck | kreature
07/11/2016 12:43 | kreature when you say justify the market cap have you taken in to account the other assets, have you taken in to account the mkt cap of SXX who are years away from any production? | soulsauce
07/11/2016 12:39 | Hopefully the final permit on the permits will get approved, and hopefully there will be a customer to justify the market cap at some point. Thanks for all the info, and best of luck with all your bickering and confusion ; ) | kreature
07/11/2016 10:33 | It is the product and Maximus project that exceeding the company's expectations. I will be very interested to see what the kimberlite turns up, although kimberlite can also be associated with diamonds ;-) | soulsauce
07/11/2016 10:15 | I'd go by the vox interview, which stated that they'll be in production in the third week of this month, two weeks time now. The rns also states: 'It is expected that this matter will be concluded this month'. P.S. are you and Andy working as a tag team? | janestone
07/11/2016 09:59 | Is there a bit of ambiguity in the RNS? Does 'this matter' refer to the inspection, or to the final trial mining permit ? Also, I know it seems obvious but does mining commence before the end of the financial year, or before the end of the calendar year? And how can 'Progress.......exce 'Trial Mining Permit' '......presently Harvest is finalizing the scheduling of this inspection to coincide with the completion of the civil and infrastructure works. It is expected that this matter will be concluded this month.' ...............'once the DNPM have been to site, we expect to receive the trial mining permit and commence mining before the end of the year.' | kreature
07/11/2016 09:41 | Good update imo. Just the trial licence needed which should come soon and hopefully by the end of the month. Cant see any reason why the wouldn't gain it. | cfro
07/11/2016 08:33 | Such short-termism :-0 Still think they are going to have two different products, a bog standard remineraliser probably sold at $50-$60 per tonne and a much more enriched product sold for much higher. "Agronomic Test Work Harvest has received outstanding agronomic test results from Geosol Environmental Laboratory and the Campo Agronomic Laboratory. The two samples were split into different size fractions to simulate different products sizes. The results confirmed the material was inside the MAPA specifications for a 'remineralizer'. Furthermore, petrographic analysis has also confirmed there is no free silica in the product, which is significant, as free silica is considered a health hazard if inhaled during application" | soulsauce
07/11/2016 08:18 | I think HMI are setting themselves up for a much bigger venture and hopefully this will indeed turn out to be Maximus. I am wondering what the significance of the kimberlite is? | soulsauce |
