25/11/2009 12:23 | Put up or walk away. I suspected that would be the outcome the Delta deal fall through. | ls lowry
25/11/2009 10:30 | Standard put up or shut up. Nothing strange. | whiters
25/11/2009 10:19 | It looks as though we could be in for a longish wait - 31 December deadline: "HARTEST HOLDINGS PLC ("HARTEST") DELTA CONTROLS LIMITED ("DELTA CONTROLS") Following recent representations made by the advisers to Hartest, the Panel Executive has been considering the application of Rule 2.4(b) of the Code to the announcement made by Delta Controls, on 8 October 2009, in which it confirmed that it had made an approach to Hartest that may lead to an offer for Hartest. Following discussions with both parties' advisers, the Panel Executive has ruled that, unless the Panel Executive consents otherwise, Delta Controls must, by 1.00 p.m. on 31 December 2009, either announce a firm intention to make an offer for Hartest under Rule 2.5 of the Code or announce that it does not intend to make an offer for Hartest. In the event that Delta Controls announces that it does not intend to make an offer for Hartest, Delta Controls and any person(s) acting in concert with it will, except with the consent of the Panel Executive, be bound by the restrictions contained in Rule 2.8 of the Code for six months from the date of such announcement. Each of the parties has accepted this ruling." | ansc
24/11/2009 07:42 | Dont forget as HTH is in discussions with other parties this could now affect profits due to the costs incured. | ls lowry
23/11/2009 23:11 | We cant have it both ways! Or can we. 2p Dividend would suit me too. | whiters
23/11/2009 21:13 | I would guess that the danger of that is that if the company really is performing well then their £4m offer may just look pretty mean. | arthur_lame_stocks
23/11/2009 18:25 | Or they awaiting the intrims usually out the 2nd week of December. | whiters
22/11/2009 19:28 | So 6 weeks on and no news. I have a feeling the bid will fall through as PG will demand too high a price for his shares. EKT i'm sure will be happy to get their money back. I don't mind altogether if the bid does fall through as I paid under 20p for mine and a 2p dividend would only cost the company £170k a year which seems feasible seeing as they don't have any debt and don't really need the cash for anything else. | arthur_lame_stocks
06/11/2009 13:15 | Just had it confirmed that Electron did indeed pay 62.5p for their shares. | whiters
20/10/2009 19:49 | Would not bet on it snowy! More than one market for trades. | ls lowry
20/10/2009 19:31 | Sober up and try again Snowy ;-) | spec7

19/10/2009 19:16 | Alpaso Its not cryptic at all. The building in Redhill displays the HTH banner because that is the parent company of Sheen instruments who trade from there and who were at Teddington lock and Richmond but have now moved. EDIT..sorry whiters...I see you already said that :-) | spec7
19/10/2009 19:13 | I dont have any trouble following this thread !! maybe i have been around ADVFN to long :-) | spec7
19/10/2009 18:30 | Sandhurst is the offices warehouse and workshop for Hartest medical division Cross medical and Qados. As well as being the head office of the group. Redhill is the new manufacturing facility for Hartest Precision Instruments, Sheen, Wallace and ASL and overseas the Indian operation it replaces Croydon and Richmond with I suspect substantial savings over the old two remote sites. Carnation is based in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire where they manufacture the Genisys system and service and maintain as well as arrange the installation. Agar has moved into new premises in Stanstead from where it distributes products to electron microscopy department's world wide. Hartest do not have a dedicated head office. All this information can be gleaned from their web site. | whiters
19/10/2009 18:14 | I think I may agree with you LS.L, the building in Redhill displays, or at least did, the HTH banner, I to have great difficulty in making any logic out of some of the postings, everyone is so scared that their identities may be breached. If like me, many of the authors are known.......not in person I may add, but there are some very bitter words written here in replies, or is it a self preservation attempt. Unfortunately we all suffer the whims of companies, lunatics, etc which strive to muddy the waters. | alpaso
18/10/2009 21:40 | " If you want any tips have a look at Hilton foods my family has a holding." that would be your Granny again..........lol Maybe you could tell us what is disgusting ? The fact that EKT has sabotaged the share price here in the hope of getting this on the cheap and doing the share holders out of £k's of pounds ? The fact that it is still manipulating the price behind the scenes ? EKT should hang their heads in shame. Their morals ands scruples appear to be on a par with their company spokesman, fusebox. They are well suited to each other. | spec7
18/10/2009 21:20 | 'twas ever thus | mirandaj
18/10/2009 21:15 | Not only is it disgusting what is happening with HTH lately but I am also disguted with the style of posting here. The cryptic posting makes no sense at all. I have looked at information on other boards and tried to make some sense of the content then get accused of being other people. These threads are not too distant to the old lunatic asylums. No sense of normality that is why I have not added any comments lately. Leave them to it Alpaso before the regulars on here jump on you. If you want any tips have a look at Hilton foods my family has a holding. | ls lowry
18/10/2009 19:56 | I understood that the Redhill building is basically Sheen Instruments. Certainly they have offices there. | blackss
18/10/2009 16:48 | Good afternoon Gentlemen, I have spent some time reading through many of the threads on this chat room, and the underlying feeling seems to be disgust and out and out dislike for the way things are being done. HTH are based so I believe,in a very plush building in Sandhurst, Surrey, which seems to be very remote from their production facility at Redhill in Surrey, having been there it is not the best site in the world, but why is not HT based there as well, Perhaps the company newsleter drove them away with the front page picture. We all need small investors, it makes the world go square.. | alpaso
16/10/2009 14:28 | Arthur Thank you. i will have a look at your claims, but would not be suprised. The biggest suprise was that EKT bid 25p | snowman10
13/10/2009 18:54 | Welcome to the unregulated AIM ! Most of these companies are run for the benefit of their managements, you only have to look at the track record of most of these guys to see they move from company to company on the gravy train paid for by the small investors, a majority of whom will lose their money ....sad but true... | spec7 |
