Dear oh dear.I thought after calling CPX down at one pence you might have done the sensible thing beeks, and changed your username.Hargreaves now trades at net working capital with no debt, and has significant property assets potentially worth over 4p alone. Perhaps those things are relevant to an assessment of the investment, but require some ability and thought. You strike me as someone who commentates on events, rather than predicts them. Investment is about the latter btw.

A bad winter won't help - not on the power station side anyway.

Units are thrashed to their limits whilst the prices are high. They won't stop to do maintenance unless absolutely necessary.

It seems the news wasn't in the price then. I guess that's another £14m of working capital less some redundancy and restructuring costs they won't be needing. It should secure the dividend at least.

I agree you are both correct. The initial reaction to SSI, combined with it going xd [20p] took the share price from approx 400 to 350. It took my trade from profit to loss.

It looks like my chart idea has gone by the wayside for now.

Was the future supply of coke to SSI going to very lucrative anyway?

Have to assume that the situation with SSI was already in the price as no reaction in the share price at all on the news.

Sometimes its good to talk to yourself -mumble mumble.
I note its the AGM on the 7th -hopefully there will be a bit of an update.
Had rather forgotten who owned Teesport -some Canadian outfit. Think SSI is very bad news for them. Was owned by Powell Duffryn but that's some years ago now.

Yes, this is very close to a key point on the chart.

I looked at the recent presentation over the weekend, which persuaded me to be more generous with my stop.

Very difficult to figure this one out. Cash position is better than many feared -may allay concerns over dividend cut?
