29/12/2010 11:50 | It is dull to be Drachen and write only in prose 'Though 'tis kind that he tells us that which he knows Or that which is troubling or twitching his nose Or things he has read, or snippetts he throws At our feet for why we suppose Hoping the share price upwardly grows We hope he continues to brighten our days Cheering us up in various ways. | atflores
23/12/2010 12:51 | interesting article in 'Offshore' this week. mentions Transocean Ltd. Their new ultra- deepwater drillship 'Discoverer India' has begun a minimum 5 year contract for Hardy's drilling partner Reliance Industries. It is equipped to drill up to 10,668m in water depths of 3,048. | drachen

21/12/2010 13:03 | Tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy Drachen brings us tidings full of Christmas cheer He's a bit of a fan of the Miocene, his posting doth make clear The primary/secondary/te May yet conceal our fortunes, and cheer us up a bit So fill the bumper, stuff some bird, roast it in an oven Better times for Hardy folks might indeed be comin' | atflores
21/12/2010 10:21 | excellent news...a nice christmas present for all holders. looking at the time frame for the first well on D9, in my opinion we are looking at between 5-6 weeks , so can expect results propably end of January, beginning of Feb. Although not specified ie just put targeting Tertiary sands, one assumes they will be specifically looking again at the lower and middle Miocene fans. although the first well on D9 was disappointing, the overall commerciality of the Krishna Godavari basin is not in doubt as the very successful D3 programme showed. Next year ,in my opinion, will put Hardy on the map. with the 2 further wells scheduled( 2nd and 4th quarter) on D9 and D3 (1st and 3rd quarter, to look forward ,and hopefully good news from this one, hopefully we will see a bit more interest and a share price that reflects the real potential of this company.... off topic, it does make me laugh sometimes to see the huge volumes of shares traded in companies that have never had any success and unlike Hardy are not in production (all be it in a small way at present) you know who i mean ..desire etc drilling in the Falklands..10 years and nothing to show for it yet trades every day with volumes in to the millions...i dont get it ...even after the many years I have spent trading ....its a funny old game...anyway good luck everyone ..as always dont just listen to my ramblings ..DOYR and have a merry christmas one and all...next year could be very happy for us all!!!! | drachen
16/12/2010 18:17 | In the bleak midwinter Drachen did make moan, Hardy's share price was not Falling like a stone; Spudding D9, slow on slow Slow to show, In the bleak midwinter, Not so long ago. | atflores
15/12/2010 14:53 | nice to see the share price recover a little over the last few days, though it seems to be a bit up and down at the moment , stuck the last few months in the range 180-200p. Probably stay like that until we get the anticipated news re the spudding of the second well on D9, which is surely due soon...isnt it? (was originally scheduled for this month)...any news would certainly boost the share price and would make this a good xmas for all (especially all us long term holders.) as always DYOR etc etc...... | drachen

03/11/2010 09:04 | with PY-3 in full production the financials certainly appear very healthy. With sales of 40,974 stb for the 3 months at average price of $75.93, I make that £3.1 million. With the sale of the African assets adding another $4.6 million Hardy has a cash/investment pot of $23 million, in which to concentrate solely on realising its assets in India. With most of the expenditure of $1.8 million being spent on drilling the successful 4th (should that be 5th?) discovery on D3 and with no long term debt, I for one am confident about the future. It would of been nice though to have had further news re the drilling programme for D9. With phase one requirements of two further wells on the block, the schedule is still that one well will be drilled before the end of 2010. The minimum requirement of 2 wells on D3 I believe are scheduled according to the website in the first and third quarter of 2011. It certainly looks promising going forward and if the disbute on the extension to the exploration programme on CY-OS can be resolved anytime soon, we will have a nother prize asset....just a few personal comments on the statement issued today , feel free to comment on.. and as always DYOR and good luck all investors...and yes I am a long term investor of this company. | drachen
19/10/2010 23:03 | Surprisingly enough I am still very positive about the share price over the medium term. OK the share price has drifted on low volume, and until there is any news about the planned 2nd well on D9 this quarter, and a further well on D3 in the 1st quarter of next year, then it may drift back a bit further. But hey, with the disposal of its Nigerian assets,Hardy will be totally focused on India. Which in my opinion is good news, lets face it even having only 10-20% of the expected payback from D3 will transform the company. Lead times are long but I believe this company is a good investment. I for one have put my money where my mouth is and if the share price drops a little more intend to top up my investment. As always DYOR...and good luck | drachen
18/10/2010 23:05 | Drachen has sprachen but in a rush His syntax is broken, his spirit crushed More uppercase, and fewer dots and spaces Would help his style if not his finances | atflores
18/10/2010 22:26 | I hope this isnt going to affect the completion of phase 1 on D3 ie the requirement to drill 6 exploration wells...me thinks the DGH are being very petty under the circumstances. hopefully will get some news from the company re this to clarify the situation and hopefully finally some news on when they hope to spud the 2nd well on D9 | drachen
18/10/2010 08:12 | unbelievable...how can the DGH pretend that there wasnt another gas discovery on D3, surely Reliance/ Hardy will appeal. but more importantly, why was there no news released to share holders. | drachen
15/10/2010 01:40 | Found this article, dated 24th september. Could explain why this has gone down since then. | mebz2
05/10/2010 19:26 | personally I think it is good news and will allow management to focus entirely on India. Looking between the lines of the Intrim report its clear that there were problems in Nigeria regarding equipment supplies etc. The fact is they got a fair price, and hard cash, for a minor piece of the portfolio. Hardy's success lies in India. Production is back on track in the Cauvery Basin (PY-3), and the massive potential of our assets in the already proven Krishna Godavari Basin (D3 AND D9), are for me the key points. We can expect drilling of the 2nd exploration well on D9 this quarter. (news soon hopefully) and ....ok the share price has dipped a bit since my last post, but its been on very very little volume. I still think any news now on D9 will see share price rise sig.as always though DYOR. | drachen
21/9/2010 08:11 | Should I be happy, or be sad, Is this news today good or bad ? | silverscoop
17/9/2010 09:51 | The Drachen has spoken - we'd do well to peruse His words quite unbroken - he cares not for the muse The drilling continues - on the floor of D9 We await more news - just like the last time. | atflores
13/9/2010 00:40 | It looks like the share price has settled around the 240p mark for now on very low volume. I think investors are waiting for the anticipated news of further exploration drilling on block D9, then we should see a lot more interest/volume and a subsiquent sig rise in share price looking back to September 2009, when A1 spudded on the block, the share price was already well over 300p then, and peaked at over 550p before the well was P&A. With the further discovery made on block D3 since then, I personally think that the share price has a lot of upside. | drachen |
