24/4/2008 09:05 | I'll settle for 3p after results after they confirm they have adequate financing to see them through to profit. Well, I can fantasise can't I? | bungler
24/4/2008 08:32 | ADVFN has it down as a buy bosco - good price for someone if it is. | bungler
23/4/2008 12:15 | I think the 100,000 sell this morning is encouraging. The MM's are happy to take the shares which indicates they may be begining to realise the price is undervalued. Why someone should sell 100000 with the full year figures coming is beyond me but perhaps they think they are taking advantage of the recent small rise. | boscolane
22/4/2008 20:10 | Hi Clocktower. Yes its on their website and im pretty sure it is upto date. I think the full year numbers are due anytime. could be interesting. | boscolane

17/4/2008 16:23 | Perhaps the common retail end not for you, bungler. It does come to mind that you might be better suited by couture. I'm sure you & The House would be a natural fit. | ladybird1
17/4/2008 16:22 | Perhaps the common retail end not for you, bungler. It does come to mind that you might be better suited by couture. I'm sure you & The House would be a natural fit. | ladybird1
17/4/2008 15:17 | Well I would do ladybird but I can't seem to find the sections selling backward facing baseball caps and jeans that hang down around my thighs? | bungler
17/4/2008 14:27 | Trust you will be taking advantage of the discount & supporting this worthy cause, bungler? | ladybird1
17/4/2008 12:42 | Nice to see HA are being proactive this morning. I registered with the online store a while back and this morning received an e-mail offering me a 25% discount on anything bought online within the next 14 days. Let's hope it gets things started for them/us. | bungler
17/4/2008 01:13 | Holy Cow bungler, would you mind posting a picture of yourself please !! In the heels preferably ! Less seriously, my view is that I don't think the website is all that important at the moment for sales. I really dont think people will be spending that kind of money on a garment without trying it on. Sales in the stores are much more important. It could be that HA know that any serious retailer needs a website to sell its goods and that as long as the box is ticked I dont think it is critical to show high sales online at the moment. | boscolane
16/4/2008 12:46 | Yes the waist is only 50 inches in fact and the inside legs at least 27 inches in my best heels! | bungler
16/4/2008 12:39 | lol, I didn't really think you were a vertically-challenge | tiredoldbroker
16/4/2008 12:32 | Don't get me wrong tob - I was merely jesting and totally agree with you that the range does look limited. I would hope though that you are right that it's just a temporary snag. I guess (fear) that with all these store openings going on that there probably isn't that much cash around for having a wide range of sizes and ranges available in stock. | bungler
16/4/2008 12:27 | bungler, my point is that you don't have to be a fat dwarf to find nothing that fits you in the HA menswear range; I wonder if any of our female contributors would cast a similar eye over sizing in their womenswear. I do think that as a very premium-priced offering, HA need to have sizes that fit men with cash to spend who won't be price-sensitive, and from what I can see on their internet site, that just isn't happening right now. Maybe its just a snag during the rollout, I don't know. | tiredoldbroker
16/4/2008 12:23 | On a more positive note though - there's no sign that they're letting up the roll-out in spite of market conditions. Time will tell whether they are being foolhardy or not but the strategy remains unchanged. This time it's Bristol: Apple takes bites of Bristol's Cabot Circus 11:04 | 16.04.08 Land Securities and Hammerson - the Bristol Alliance - have secured another eight retailers taking its Cabot Circus scheme to 85% let ahead of an autumn opening. By Laura Chesters The 1m sq ft city centre retail and leisure destination has signed Apple, The White Company and Fred Perry, all of which will be opening stores in Quakers Friars, the scheme's designer and luxury brands area anchored by Harvey Nichols. Other new signings include urban street wear brand, Bench, DESIGNER FASHION RETAILER HARDY AMIES, high street retailers Jane Norman and JJB Sports. Enormous progress Keith Stone, Bristol Alliance leasing director, said: 'We are making enormous progress across the development and these latest lettings continue to demonstrate huge retailer confidence in Cabot Circus. Quakers Friars is well on its way to being 100% let by the time of opening, with the main scheme, The Circus, not far behind.' | bungler
16/4/2008 12:20 | Hmmm doesn't seem to be anything there to fit my 52 inch waist and 26 inch inside legs. I think I'd better liquidate my holding. | bungler |
