You need to think long term Dozey. I'm fully expecting this company to be cash flow positive by 2030.They have only had 15 years to get to sales of £3m-you must learn the value of patience in your investments. :)
If things go to plan this share price could double -yes double by 2020!

Prelim results are at
Nothing there to explain the burst of activity last week, and the market agrees by giving a good kicking. However looks very stable, and with more production coming on stream and ban on hard chrome on the horizon (21 Sept. 2017) the bull case remains IMO for the patient. Sales to N America up 117% look impressive, but amount to an increase of only about £0.5m. And the revenue forecast for the next 12 months is similar to last year which is very disappointing.

A 1.0m trade (@ 1.25p) dumped this morning, amongst a plethora of other sells, so the Mingy Machs have been able to re-stock ..... in time for their next manipulated surge!

Surely even a micro-cap company should be putting out an rns tomorrow when the share price surges 30% or whatever, if only to say they don't know wdf is happening either. Better be quick though cos it could retrace as soon as the market opens. It's being so cheerful that... etc.

Thanks both, I'll carry on sitting on my hands. Good Co's with good products should pay off eventually....but boy do you need to be patient sometimes !

The Mingy Machs have made a few quick bucks with their usual 'smoke and mirrors' routine having seen a few interested buyers this morning, I'm anticipating a reverse gear shortly!

Obviously anticipating good results in the next week or two, and the start of U.S. Production.

Whether this anticipation is based on facts / leaks - I have no idea.

Best wishes - Mike

We know the results will be out 'early December'. We anticipate the U.S. facility being in 'full operation' before the end of this month.

They have increased capacity in the U.K. and are about to have an additional facility to increase production further and - importantly - thus provide dual production capability (seen vital by some potential customers).

Down-side is oil & gas, but this is already known about and anticipated. Length of trials is also a downside, but only because the product is so hard wearing.

If and when they get into turbines (been testing for well over two years) this is a big ticket item and - if successful - won't go away again any time soon.

I increased my holding again today - after all at these prices the downside is very very limited.

Best wishes - Mike

£50k's worth bought in the last two trading days, which I suppose is no big deal for most on here. But could something be stirring in the HDD world like a juicy contract from a new customer? After all it has been known for price movements to PRECEDE information being put out to the market.

Nothing wrong in having a moan now and then. The idea is that the management read these comments -become ashamed and so redouble their efforts.
I don't think we are at odds here to be honest.
The other point is that I don't like luvvy boards where you get only positive/supportive comments where the company management has failed repeatedly over a long period of time.
I'm sure there have been changes along the way though the Russian guy seems to be a constant. Just seems to be no sense of urgency here -just drift. What do they actually do all day.??
Don't think they can set the timetable here -that's done by the potential customers.
top of the leader board now -this time it will be different.

If - like me - you only have a small amount of these then why all the angst? You obviously have a reason to hold, so moaning about it won't change anything. My reasons? 1. I bought cheap. 2. I'm awaiting the day they are bought out. If this doesn't happen for a number of years then so be it. #speculativepunt....

Keep up the buying then pgs2! I'm sure HDD management has met some fund managers over the past ten years and convinced them that the company has good products/technology as you have indicated above. But I don't think the company has ever met any financial targets and years roll by without anything happening. The last fundraise seemed to be based on exciting news around the corner as the share price was massaged upwards for the placing -was it 2.5p-and now its back below 1p. The number of shares in issue gives some indication of how many times this company has tapped the market. It remains jam tomorrow. I'm sure you could you could have written your email two years ago with the same thoughts in mind. But why should the management bother -months/years pass -they get paid and pick up cheap options along the way without these being linked to any targets whatsoever. I have a small amount of these -thank god.

The ability to coat internal surfaces, leading impact and corrosion resistance means Hardide is the leading product in the market today. HVOF is a lower quality product and whilst has merits for simple shapes and less demanding applications cannot fill the sector which Hardide is targeting.

Hardide is cobalt free which means Hardide is the only solution for coolant systems of Nuclear power plants. Hinkley point a few years away (thanks to the Chinese and French) but let's coat the whole plant with Hardide to reach targets for Uk content! Hardide's ability to bind diamonds a game changer in the cutting industry.

Validation by General Electric, expansion to the US (in Rolls Royce's manufacturing back yard) and phasing out hard chrome coating in Europe in September 2017 provides significant scope for growth without even considering Airbus. Investment in 4 business development managers and the extra furnace supports the diversification initiatives.

Yes the over reliance on the oil and gas customer has previously been a problem but the additional diversification and stronger balance sheet will hopefully allow Hardide to get through current speed bump. Yes recent share price performance is disappointing but the 2 cornerstone investors have not been selling.

I appreciate it is frustrating to wait but I sense in 2 years Hardide will be in a very different position. Possible to buy at half the price of the capital raising 1 year ago. I bought stock today and moved the share price 10%!

I'm very positive about this company. I expect it to move into profit by 2025 and become self funding via internally generated cashflow by around 2028 if all goes well. Not long to wait now -so your patience will be well rewarded.
(While you are on the phone, so to speak, you might want to look up the meaning of opportunity cost -it is quite widely used by economists)

Leave us "mugs" to it then and don't worry about us. Fly away, be free! Life's too short to worry about shares you don't actually own...

That's very true -I'm too good for rubbish like this. They have only had 10 years to make a go of it -think this might become cash flow positive in around 2023 so may be worth hanging on.
In the meantime salaries are paid and all expenses-and on the way they will be able to mug a few more punters with placings etc.

nick thanks for this - like all Hardide offerings, it takes forever for them to be accepted. But equally it acts as a serious barrier for competitors once Hardide has become established.

Reward for failure -pathetic. At least he invented it -the other deadlegs on the board have achieved nothing. Still that big news is just around the corner.
