Hope it comes off. Good way of getting hold of assets without paying loads of stamp duty. I'm sure Hansteen will drive nav up and reduce the running costs. I'm a long term holder of Hansteen, never been let down. Still yielding nearly 5% at these levels

Looks like the Greek drama is once again flaring up,
as mentioned previously saw this as possibly causing a temporary sentiment dip.
HSTN hold no Greek assets so the business should continue to thrive
as per the last update. FY results on 21 March.

thanks all - please do bear in mind that HSTN has euro borrowings and euro assets, so there is an internal currency hedge that will buffer both gains and indeed losses from currency, per se.

Looks like a good impartial assessment. A 2% currency gain due to 80% of the port being in euroland seems about right; add in another 2% from yld compression and from a 120.5p last figure - 125p looks about right.

The Euro will dicate the future direction here. If Greece/Italy blows up then the EURGBP ceiling at 1.20 could well crack; and with just about every institution short the £, we could see a rapid bear squeeze taking £Sterling to 1.30. This would impact here.

If however it (& Trump) forces Germany to exit the Euro - which they really ought to do as they are currently ripping off the rest of their European partners - then with 58% of the portfolio in Mark territory, do the arithmetic! HSTN surely a big gainer from that scenario...

bt, NAV may be around 1.25 pence plus now.

Divi looks very well covered atm, has never been cut.
They occupy a nice sector niche, plenty of info on their investor relations site.

HSTN does move around a bit, perhaps best looked at on a bad day/week,
although the current price gives what looks a nice discount.
I added Thursday as mentioned.

If Greece blows up again the share price may possibly be impacted by negative sentiment
short term, however they have no exposure to the country.

Added multiple lots yesterday, now one of my largest holdings.

A strong EURO is NAV accretive and the main geographic exposure is to Germany,
where the majority of assets are held.
