Trade a few yes, but need dividend income these days so have to
stay largely invested now.

May be a case of how high it can go now, if 2018 NAV estimates are well
in to the 130's then we could be 13/14% below NAV around here.

BBOX sells on a fat premium to NAV, Edmond Jackson recently recently wrote
an article highlighting HSTN against BBOX.

Differentiating between valid acceptances and owned shares.

Attempting to say now owning over 20% of IMPT,
would they really walk away.

Looks like they have picked up another chunk today.

HSTN own a lot more than 21% of IMPT. From this morning's RNS:
"Hansteen either holds, or has received, valid acceptances of its Offer in respect of a total of 3,724,706 IMPT Shares, representing approximately 44.29 per cent. .......
On 14 March 2017, Hansteen additionally acquired 437,500 IMPT Shares in aggregate, representing approximately 5.20 per cent. ..........
Hansteen has also received acceptances of its Offer which have not been accompanied by share certificates or other valid cover but are otherwise valid, in respect of 124,982 IMPT Shares, representing approximately 1.49 per cent."
Over 50% plus it looks like another c0.5% today. I would expect them to go unconditional next week.

pleasing to read updates from HSTN which invite IMPT holders to (in effect) accept or lose the proposed exit deal. my guess (only a pure guess!) would be that HSTN *might* make one further final time extension (at 300p) before walking away (while holding onto what they already own of IMPT). but it seems they are not at all minded to over-pay, which is greatly to be applauded. Why should they? 300p cash was board recommended. ex

May be worth reading the December update again.

It was highly positive.

Since then we have strengthening Euro area growth, a UK economy that has defied
the doomsayers, underscored by generational low unemployment.


Tuesday's FY results with a nice dividend increase may read very well.

Health issues do not allow me to short term trade continually,
so when I am able try to make the most, market conditions do not always
suit it either.

Some of TA guys are looking for a market turn next Monday/Tuesday fwiw.

bt, BAB, have a small holding there, I think it looks good,
however may be better to wait until results and it's been all over the place recently.
Not sure on it short term.
