|I have no idea what HopiAye is on about,or what it has to do with the current share price, but this could well bounce back 100% at least and all new buyers would be very happy indeed . a strong buy i would give it, and its open to all even Arabs i would think.|

|Whilst clearly not good news for existing shareholders IMHO this now looks quite an interesting play with money in the bank, new board and two acquisitions. Question will be where does the share price end up following placing?|

Circular re. EGM
Hamsard Group plc (the 'Company') announces that a circular, including a notice
convening an extraordinary general meeting of the Company ('EGM') to be held at
St. James' Court, Brown Street, Manchester M2 2JF at 10.00 am on Tuesday, 12
September 2006, has been posted to shareholders today.
The purpose of the EGM is to consider and, if thought fit, approve resolutions
authorise the directors to allot ordinary shares in the capital of
the Company for the purposes of section 80 of the Companies Act 1985 (the 'Act
as the net assets of the Company are now half or less of its called
up share capital, to consider whether any and, if so what, steps should be taken
to deal with the situation;
to disapply the provisions of section 89(1) of the Act in respect of
pre-emption rights, subject to certain limits; and
to make certain changes to the Company's memorandum and articles of

|Looks like its running out of money
LONDON (AFX) - Hamsard Group PLC said that on May 31 executive chairman
James Metcalf and executive director Michael Sharples entered into an agreement
with the company in which they agreed to make 300,000 stg available to the
company in the form of a short term loan.
The loan is repayable in full on or before July 31 2006 and will be utilised
to support short-term working capital requirements.
