Loverat...... Equator Exploration would be a most entertaining case study. The pantomime is still running and could have a very unexpected and amusing ending.IMO

The Clontarf Road Co's run By John Teeling and David Horgan are also very funny.

Will do. I am taking my time to make sure the site is just right. Someone else is sorting out the IT stuff. I have alot of case studies etc to start it off and a little experience of fending off the libel fools who would try and close it down.

Perhaps it would be beneficial to perform a forensic review of each News Release commencing with the RNS dated 16/11/2011 - Half Year Report.

Unfortunately most directors seem utterly useless - hence why I never bother contacting them.

I am building a website devoted to companies which have useless directors who have deliberately neglected their proper duties and stuffed shareholders.

This company might be a possible case study - depending on the outcome of course.

At the "Investors Relations - Major Shareholders" page of the Hampson website the only Major Shareholders reported are those held by Directors.

It appears therefore that no Holdings in excess of 3% have been reported to Hampson.

(Note: I indicated by email on July 4 that the Major Shareholders page may require updated. Hopefully the information as at today (July 18), is accurate.)

This evening, I sent the following email to Hampson.........

Subject: Farnborough Airshow & Hampson's Customers - Encouragement to Lenders

Dear Mr XXXXXX

I note that Hampson's customers have had a successful Farnborough Airshow with firm orders for 500 aircraft and options for an additional 300 units.

Hopefully such orders and confidence will encourage Lenders to support Hampson in the future, noting the new generosity of the British Government and Taxpayers in making funds available for such purpose.

Good luck.

We look forward to receiving good news, as well as the usual gloomy warnings, with the Preliminary Results.

Kind regards

xxxxxxxx

When I posted No 1615 I did not expect the share price to drop the way it did - however the premise remains valid.

All in my own and personal opinion

Whatever their internal strategy I suspect that the final endgame is now outwith the control of Hampson Management & Directors and the Sales process.

A reasonable strategy for any interested Party would be to engage in the Sales Process for the purpose of due diligence and then make an offer direct to Shareholders?

Saw what happened there. No surprise really.

These are at the same MC but look at the slight difference of wording in the RNS. HAMP - there is a 'risk of little or no value for shareholders'

A 'risk' at this stage.

In AAT's case the wording was slightly more worrying.

I suspect the AAT style RNS will come here but I am little surprised that there has been no bounce here until the inevitable.

It will be interesting to read Hampson's preliminary results due to be published before the end of July.

It appears that the total volume of work accumulated within the aerospace industry is still increasing - see the Farnborough Airshow report below.

IMO any company interested in buying Hampson would wait until after the results are published, noting that there is nothing to lose by such a strategy.

I still own shares in Hampson and believe that nobody, (including the Directors & Management), knows the true value, (to others), of the company in circumstances where the "Hampson Manufacturing and Service Machine" is being finally sold or faces another type of disposition.

We shall see.

All in my own and personal opinion.

July 17, 2012

HE MIL & AERO VIDEO BLOG, 17 July 2012. The 2012 Farnborough International Airshow is in the books, and although the event started out slowly, it turned into a near-record event for commercial and military aircraft sales. By my count, 800 aircraft were sold in and around the show -- with 500 firm orders and 300 options and conditional sales, as John Keller reports this week in the Mil &

Aero Video Blog.

any holders left here - take a look at what happened to AEA (AAT) today.

Hawker Beechcraft intends to sell off its business and general aviation and customer support businesses to China's Superior Aviation Beijing under a potential $1.79 billion deal.

The Wichita, Kan.-based manufacturer entered an exclusivity agreement with Superior as part of an ongoing review of strategic options, and says it "decided to proceed with Superior after determining that its proposal would create the greatest value for the company and position it for long-term growth."
