21/3/2009 22:43 | phillis, hope your response made you feel big. thanks. hope you never have to ask anyone a question about anything... but you're probably so knowledgable about everything you don't need to. well done! and a genuine thanks to miamisteve. | brando69
11/3/2009 09:54 | To take up the rights or to sell the rights, that is the question. Whether it is nobler.. (I've forgotten the rest, so no help with the question there). | droong
27/2/2009 11:34 | w.bramley The EPIC code for the Nil Paid shares is HMSN | inki
26/2/2009 23:47 | CORRECT Close 80-80.75p | w.bramley
26/2/2009 20:07 | Presumably the XRights NP price is the difference between the current price and £1.50. Hope so as I have closed my short at £3.25 and bought sufficient shares to lock in the loss on my rights. | davetheeagle
26/2/2009 11:42 | Does anyone know if the HMSO. XRights NP has a quote, if so what is the epic code? Many thanks. UPDATE found epic code of NP - ( HMSN ) | w.bramley
11/2/2009 08:20 | not a silly question - good luck with it brandon.......nice response from miamisteve.......... | shazzieb
10/2/2009 15:12 | brando - you will automatically acquire the short @ £1.50 as well with your spreadbet if you hold through the ex-rights day. | miamisteve
10/2/2009 14:20 | Why a silly question Phillis | rdcars
10/2/2009 08:05 | if you have to ask the question it shows you don't know what you are doing, so best move on | phillis
09/2/2009 22:57 | perhaps a foolish question but i'll ask anyway. assuming that once we have the dilutative effect of the new shares, the price is going to settle somewhere around £2.80 for argument sake... tomorrow, if i open up a spreadbet short, for Jun09 contract, at £4.41, and keep it running til the new shares are admitted to trading... can the spreadbet co do anything to prevent me automatically benefiting from the almost surefire fall in shareprice? | brando69
09/2/2009 16:13 | 150p to 370p is a huge discount as far as rights offers go. Makes you wonder why they are paying to have it underwritten! Money for old rope - even in these uncertain times | phillis
09/2/2009 14:52 | Its not that discounted. If you had a 1000 shares close of play friday at 370p. You need to fund 1400 shares at 150p to take up your rights. | churchill2
09/2/2009 12:54 | The reaction to the RNS shows how attractive the rights offer is at such a deep discount EDIT: more probably shorters having to buy back stock in order to return it to the lenders who will want to take up their rights | phillis
09/2/2009 12:24 | Wow that's one hell of a discounted rights issue! Shows how appauling the property sector is at the moment. Will stay on the sidelines for now, until after 26Feb for sure, don't see any value yet. | john hampton
09/2/2009 12:12 | More Earl - because it isn't ex rights yet. that will be on the 26th February. If you buy until then get the rights at £1.50. | miamisteve
09/2/2009 12:01 | The TERPs price is £2.53 | phillis
09/2/2009 11:58 | can anyone explain why this hasn't tanked? rights issue at £1.50 per share to clear off debt which will still stand at 81% the rights issue cash!! | moreearl
09/2/2009 11:56 | Was looking to take a long position here but the fall in NAV per share has put me off. Falling from £14 to £10 and after rights issue to £5. sp would equate to £2.80 a share after rights discount. given the leverage not a significant enough NAV discount for me. If property prices fell in 2009 same a 2008 then NAV per share would be £3 ( assuming 7-5 dilution) Will also get impacted if sterling strengthens versus Euro, which seems to be the trend this year. | miamisteve
09/2/2009 11:29 | glad to see the share price rising but once shoters get in will bring it down surely?! | shazzieb
09/2/2009 08:45 | Excellent response | phillis |
