Well said superjock. Halma is now at the bottom end of its trading range. It peaked at 1.69p in January and hit a low of 140p a few weeks ago, due to a falling dollar. As Halma derives a large percentage of its profits from the US, strengthening of the dollar should now be earnings enhancing.

I'm here - another nice day. It's bound to dip soon though. Still, I'm holding for the long term and since April last year my holding has increased by enough to keep it that way.

This stock looks like it is begininng to move upwards again after large falls, Directors were buying at higher levels only a few months ago.

Has anyone got any views on this stock, why has it fallen so much recently?

Thanks

Looking good today.
I don't think this is only due to the raising of the divi by 15% (although that exceeds the average of FT100 co's by quite a margin)

I'm like Buffet - I never sell...

WOuldn't touch UVS personally - but s/t buy on the break of 200, short below 170. Stuff that has been hammered like UVS is always a tricky one I think.

You still holding this! got bored stiff watching nothing happening for a month so got out flat, agree it may go up, but very slowly and very long term from here, biggest selling point is the support just under these levels, good luck
d.
P.S as you're my favourite free chart analyst! have a look at UVS if you have a minute. I'll come on one of your courses one day, promise!.

These have been flat for a while, not even the results last week moved them but this seems to:

DISCLOSURE UNDER RULE 3 OF THE RULES GOVERNING
SUBSTANTIAL ACQUISITIONS OF SHARES ("SARs")

SILCHESTER INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS LIMITED

Now own 18% of the shares. Who are they.....

So Limps still see a return to 170, this was doomed and I said that it was a pump and dump situation, cannot see this coming good for a while now...we may even see the 130-140 range soon or a long period of side ways movement...Stay away for now...
