For anyone interested in TA, there are a couple of views provided
on the SHA thread from yesterday - if you are long HLMA you may not want
to look at those views.

Agree with that.
The 4 non execs appear to hold only 2,000 shares each.
Caution may pay imv.

mine as well, stay out of this market and hold some cash, At some stage the market will be a buy but in my own view it could be long wait!
Halma and weir group etc could all start to feel a reduction in orders as most of the world squirms under a moutain of debt, Just my own thoughts.

Price looks rich in the context of rapidly falling market PE's.

Would not be suprised if estimates are scaled back making the PE higher
than it appears imo.

High exposure to Europe and the US, both of which look to be grinding
a halt.

Just my view.

the shares have been held for 3 years and 11 august is the vesting date. also sold to meet tax needs on the vested shares.
the directors still have large holdings, so i am not too concerned

Not sure where we are going, some have lost a lot of money in second line stocks, this will recover but still not buying anything yet. August bad month the real boys running he funds away on school holidays and MMS can mark down, have to wait and see what the big investors do on return in September.
More important things coming up on the Grouse moors!
LOL!
