Almost as good as my Hallin investment doubling in less than a year! :-)

Well the yanks have doen it again. They see the value and opportunitie that the UK banks & perhaps other finance houses could not bring themselves to see.

Might have saved a few million, but might have alerted another bidder. This way, they get management approval, secure enough guaranteed support to block anyone else, and don't leave shareholders disgruntled a la Dragon Oil.

I cant believe they did not build up a stake in this before a bid !

They could have got a mm to push up the bid all the way to 150p and
take everything they got, i'm sure they would have got a million or
two in this market, just seems to be a bit reckless, wade in with
a huge bid instead of getting what they could on the cheap then making
that bid ??

ya know what bugs me most of all? the fact that hms is worth 223p so why the f=== didnt the share price reflect that in the first place instead of languishing at 120p

rant over well done to all who sails in her.
I had no position just wonder about prices sometime

Crack up the Shampoo ! That is the third piece of great news in 24 hours !

Over 1% of the company. THe biggest gamble but was it ? a great management team
in a niche speciality business and it was so cheap.

Superior UK has therefore received irrevocable undertakings to vote in favour of the Proposals in respect of 21,823,864 Hallin Shares in aggregate, representing approximately 52.7 per cent. of the existing issued share capital of Hallin.
