05/5/2015 21:45 | Where have you got that piece of news from Kendo. Does Rob know? | 21ant
05/5/2015 19:51 | Good news Rob Swyer is leaving HFD in the next three months!Result! Now let's get a retail director in place who really knows what he's doing, other than a tired old dog with a Napoleonic complex!Still going lower than higher first. | kendonagasaki
28/4/2015 22:11 | However, I'm currently short on HFD.IMO The Auto Centre side of the business is still full of grease monkeys dragging knuckles whilst waving inflated bills plus VAT at its dwindling customers! They have hid that side of the business well for the last couple of years but, trust when I say " we have not moved forward " in this arena.I have already stated publicly imo that HFD will struggle to deliver what young Master Davis once promised would be the Valhalla of 2016 year end.I will give you a free tip.If HFD try and reduce Matts projection by £50 million there are in trouble. If HFD a try and reduce Matts projection by more than £68 million..........the | kendonagasaki
28/4/2015 21:57 | Shawny old chap!Many thanks for your concern! | kendonagasaki
24/4/2015 16:12 | Six.Don't be lost and lonely kendonagasaki.Maybe your missing Big Daddy. The IMS in January was very strong when they added "it now anticipates the full year Retail gross-margin to be in the better half of the guided year-on-year range of -25 to -75 bps, with full year retail operating costs at the higher end of the 5-6% uplift guidance. Other than the reduction in net finance costs, there are no changes to its full year expectation and guidance" So i don't think the new CEO will be kicking any tyres for now. Results next month. | shauney2
20/4/2015 23:15 | Looking a bit lost and lonely here imo!Rob Sywer the retail director is the next one gone. One because he is and always been Matt Davis's number one lap dog.Two because he has supermarket background.Three because the new CEO at HFD would not like his Napoleonic mannerisms.Four because he is no great thinker or strategist and more of a fetch and do type of guy from what I have heard.Five, given the over stretch of 2016 targets dynamics imo are unachieveable, and some where and soon the new CEO is going to be left holding a ticking clock! She needs to get in some fresh, new and hungry blood to shake this under-performing EBITDA business back to the core. This is 3.80 before 4.80.You can take that to the bank! | kendonagasaki
19/4/2015 14:45 | No he's gone to Easy Jet! | kendonagasaki
13/4/2015 19:52 | Or maybe the CFO is moving on because he missed out on the top job? Probably nothing sinister or unusual in a change of this nature. | grahamburn
13/4/2015 18:42 | CFO leaving?????Looks like someone's skipping dodge before the sheriff takes a closer look at the books imo.I reckon Matt Davies has over promised for 2016 and under delivered.Don't hold your breath just yet.Let's see if they are still committing to year end, I personally don't believe they can looking at the last 3 quarters of growth.I think this will be trading below £4 once we know what they will be committing to know that the CEO and CFO have jumped ship.Money on it that Rob Swyer the retail director will be next.I see from their past they have history and have worked together at Pet at Home and Rob Swyer has the necessary supermarket background.Getting interesting that's for sure!£4 is coming. | kendonagasaki

27/3/2015 16:40 | London Evening Standard today: Jill McDonald: The burger queen who’s saddling up for a new life in fast lane | philanderer
25/3/2015 16:02 | Well I think Halfords investors will wake up to the realisation that they've gained a phenomenal CEO. Having worked under Jill for quite a few years, you have a great leader at the helm, who understands how to drive a retail business forwards. Am contemplating a buy here. A real loss for McDonalds global team. | madengland
23/3/2015 23:43 | Questor share tip: Gear up and get some more Halfords shares | philanderer
23/3/2015 10:29 | New CEO appointment:- Is this a Poacher turned Gamekeeper scenario? "Hey fatty, put down those fries and get on this bike" | mortimer7
06/3/2015 12:48 | today's Mail commenting on "growing speculation that John Browett is about to be appointed Chief Executive" | wynmck
05/3/2015 14:06 | nicely up today | gucci
23/2/2015 17:36 | If Tesco are possibly going to start selling all manner of things cycling, then there was a possibility that Halfords would have started selling pet sundries when Matt D left them. It never happened. Please explain why Tesco (which is in the Kack and pulling back its expansion plans) would want to open up a new sector from scratch. At present this just makes no sense. | scobak
23/2/2015 09:03 | New boss sounds like a nodding dog too me!If it is him, do not expect miracles! | kendonagasaki |
