There is lots going on at the moment with this company, check out the website its worth a visit, there is either another aquisistion on the cards as already mentioned in most recent results or it is something to do with the South Africa listing which is scheduled for about now! The 11m trade is really intersting though and ive noticed also that an 150k trade has just gone through, even this is an extraordinary large trade for a company that except for small daily volumes in Australia is hardly ever traded on LSe, for now!!!

Just to point out to prospective GVM investors - for most tax-efficient investing here, you should buy GVM within an ISA wrapper - it qualifies by virtue of its full ASX listing.

If you buy it outside an ISA it will not qualify for BATR on profits (75% after 2 years holding, 50% after 1 year), again due to its full ASX listing, so you will be clobbered for the full 40% CGT.

but rb, you can't buy gvm in any vol, 25% spread ??
pushed up - pulled down, we'll see where we are in
a few months time. as always, when you are forced
to sell to settle you play a losing game.
unloved and overlooked, with 259m tonnes in-ground
this is the time to quietly take your position...

at 21p you are buying a tonne of in-ground coal for 4p.
at 17p it would drop to just over 3p, with the revenue and
profits from their other operations thrown in for free..

rb, you are funny, i think if we were 0p you'd say -0.5p ;))
