04/1/2017 19:03 | CM This is a special div which has nothing to do with the bi-annual payments they are now reverting to. Those, IMO, will be in May and November each year and so we will have two more div payments in this calendar year. As I said in my previous post, a final for the year ending 31st Dec 2016 paid in May and an interim for the year ending 31st Dec 2017 paid in November. If that is correct, we will have gone from four divs a year to three in 2017. Not too bad! | mylands
04/1/2017 17:48 | I would go with mylands thoughts myself, oh yes, happy new year all. dyor | srpactive
04/1/2017 17:26 | The divi this feb is for 2016. The next 2 payments will be for 2017 - the second will therefore be paid in (Feb?) 2018 I would imagine... | cheshiremoggie
04/1/2017 17:10 | Correct T34 | festario
04/1/2017 16:53 | So we should have two more payments this calendar year 2017 ??? | t 34
04/1/2017 16:48 | The company is paying this special dividend, ex tomorrow, on Feb 14th and then will pay twice yearly. These are likely to be in May after the final results are announced in April, and then in early November after the interims are announced in late September. | mylands
04/1/2017 16:40 | Plasbryn, you are aware of the 12.5p dividend that is to be paid on 14th Feb ??? | popper joe
04/1/2017 16:24 | Hmm. Maybe I'll phone and ask IR. Use my very considerable charm. I won't get dates or details but maybe they know whether quarterly dividends are something being targeted. | whiskeyinthejar
04/1/2017 15:50 | I'm sure I have missed the information but all this talk about dividend resummation makes we want to ask when we expect GVC to announce details with dates etc. Is it all guess work for now? | plasybryn
04/1/2017 15:47 | I hope I'm wrong Whiskey, and it was a superb income stream.... but now it's looking like being the same value of annual income (by 2018/19).... but at a much higher price per share. So, we win in one way, but don't lose in the other.Let's see what else Kenny has in his bag of tricks in the meantime. | festario
04/1/2017 15:31 | I didn't know that thanks. I thought the quarterly payout was handy. Never that long before another dividend. | whiskeyinthejar
04/1/2017 15:25 | Whiskey, I don't expect quarterly dividends in future, I'm thinking 2 divis a year, plus the odd special thrown in, to exceed the broker forecasts, and push the share price up if it's looking stagnant. | festario
04/1/2017 15:06 | Not a huge dividend. I doubt there be much buying in today or selling off tomorrow just for sake of divi. Should shake off ex-div tomorrow quickly IMO. The sooner we get back to quarterly dividend the better IMO. | whiskeyinthejar
04/1/2017 14:43 | Some hefty 25k sell blocks going through, without disturbing the share price at all.Once this seller has gone.... then.... finally.... | festario
04/1/2017 10:42 | FestarioWell yes But I bet your GVC holding eclipses all the other lot put togetherAre you still watching QFI?Can't be long now before some major share price movement | kop202
04/1/2017 09:04 | Ex-div tomorrow. The rise yesterday and today looks like buying ahead of the div, though I must say it strikes me as strange that the buying should have been left so late. Happy New Year to one and all, except those I have filtered! | mylands
03/1/2017 15:46 | Kop202, you obviously don't hold any PTEC, SPD or TESCO then! | festario
03/1/2017 12:41 | Thanks Mnomis. I'm fairly certain that he is just on the wind up, but if hes for real its quite scary that hes allowed out into the markets on his own. Some minor upgrades today from Cenkos on GVC I notice. 2017 EBITDA 258.7 (unch) EPS 59.7 (was 58.9) and dividend 29.8p (was 25.5p) 2018 All unch except EPS 72.7p (was 71.8p) and dividend 36.4p (was 35.9p) 2019. All unch except EPS 82.9 (was 81.8p) and dividend 41.4p from 40.9p) Remain a buy. | brownie69
03/1/2017 12:40 | I think I'm going colour blindMy screen full of bootifull blue | kop202
03/1/2017 10:57 | @ Brownie - good explanation, thanks. I have SSW unfiltered for a bit of daily humour. | mnomis
01/1/2017 16:43 | 3 or 4 years ago the use of online gambling was criminalised in Turkey. So threat was they'd go after users with fines of 10x the average annual salary. Online gamblers in Turkey therefore know they are behaving illegally and aren't put off by threats or attempts to block them. It's a different culture. In Turkey, everyone knows corruption in business and government is so rife that there isn't the same respect for authorities we have here. | whiskeyinthejar
31/12/2016 18:38 | Happy New Year all and remember there are only three sure bets in life: death, taxes and GVC!regards, coxsmn | coxsmn
31/12/2016 18:32 | No Slippery, you are showing your utter ignorance about this company and the internet in general.GVC's Superbahis brand has been blocked in Turkey numerous times, and it is resolved immediately by rotating the IP address of the site, and disruption is minimal. The customer wants to gamble, and they always will. It's just a normal part of GVC's business. | festario
31/12/2016 08:36 | Festario you are WRONG Any specific comoany can be blocked unless you are condoning the dark web? | slipperysidewinder |
