07/10/2016 10:17 | My prediction of $1.20/£ and 1.10Euro/£ by the end of 2017, looks like it's going to be way out! Can't believe the speed of this fall, now down 2.5 cents against the dollar. | mylands
06/10/2016 21:57 | timanglin I remember it well! Just looked back to when Richard Cooper was appointed in Dec 2008 and noticed this from the RNS: Richard Cooper, a Chartered Accountant, spent the early part of his career in the money and stock markets where he was a finance director at Tullett Prebon and Fidelity. In later years, he has been the Group Financial Director at a number of quoted companies, including the internet financial software supplier, Patsystems Group plc. In early 2005, he became a founder director of Trident Gaming plc, a special purpose vehicle set up to acquire and run internet gaming assets. Trident acquired Gamebookers, significantly increased its profitability and then sold it to PartyGaming plc for three times its acquisition price. Trident also owned a betting exchange "BetBug" and a stake in an online payment processor. He is also the compiler and author of a soon to be released compendium on the finances of over 70 online gaming companies. Strange to see how he sold a company to PartyGaming for three times its acquisition price and then all these years later he goes and buys PartyGaming! | mylands
06/10/2016 21:35 | On the subject of sentimentality about GVC, I thought I might remind all the relative newcomers of the 2/2/2007 RNS appointing Kenny Alexander as CEO. In retrospect a significant day in my life. | timanglin
06/10/2016 20:47 | Good news, maybe the reason for the move up today? Pounds keeps on falling. It's down over a cent against the dollar to $1.26/£. There was a time when a fall of over 1% in Sterling's value would hit the headlines, not now! | mylands
06/10/2016 20:20 | Agreed crazycoops. I know absolutely nothing about this gaming business but the management team just keep on delivering the goods; a real winner! Good luck all. | sogoesit
06/10/2016 19:25 | I know I shouldn't fall in love but I bloody love GVC - what a progressive management team | crazycoops

06/10/2016 16:04 | Indeed, very consistent trend... | sogoesit
06/10/2016 13:27 | The trendline says 825p before Xmas SRP.Who would argue with it? | festario
06/10/2016 13:00 | Talking of Foxy Bingo the other day, I believe there was a new Foxy advert out last night. Looking very good here for a challenge of 800p. dyor regards active | srpactive
05/10/2016 07:56 | Sterling down again this morning. This fall is becoming a plunge! When currencies fall, or rise this fast there is always a correction, so I expect a bounce in the short term and then a continued move south to my 'target' of $1.20/£ and 1.10Euro/£ by the end of the year. Good spike up yesterday morning in the share price but then a steady drift down to 753p at the close. | mylands
04/10/2016 16:37 | 469,000 shares at 749p?? | festario
04/10/2016 16:35 | What a ridiculous UT, | festario
04/10/2016 15:14 | PTEC at new highs. Sector is flying.Pays is the real mover. Hit tip on the IBM link. Watch that space. | trentendboy
04/10/2016 10:28 | 888 ...11p off its 12 month high | kop202
04/10/2016 09:25 | They are definitely pushing the partypoker brand which is a good thing. Used to be the number 1 site; most players (excluding the US players) still have accounts so is definitely a lot of upside there in my view. Someone even phoned me last week to give me a bonus if I put some money in. Good sign... | broncowarrior
04/10/2016 09:08 | Personally, I hope we're heading to £10... according to my arithmetic £8 is on the way! All in due time. Good luck! Edit: my R-o-R on this holding is currently 95% pa. So 25p here or there makes little difference. Where else can you get that? | sogoesit
04/10/2016 08:56 | Woodhawk,Sarcasism is the lowest form of wit,just remember that.Focus on GVC,and yourself and not other investors !!! | garycook
04/10/2016 08:50 | Yes, very nice profits, mylands! I do like a nice pullback. Bought some below the 720 too as it dipped below there on the 30th - nearly 8% below my sale price of 779p. Still, it's only pennies to some. LOL. | woodhawk
04/10/2016 08:47 | mylands,£8 is just a matter of time,in waiting !!! | garycook
04/10/2016 08:25 | Footsie over 7,000 and the pound still heading south. If ever there's a disconnect this is it. The falling pound is going to hit the pockets of everyone when it is reflected in higher import prices. It's just a case of time. GVC back over 750p, so those, not me, who bought a couple of weeks ago in the 720's are seeing a nice profit. Are we now heading up to 800p? | mylands
04/10/2016 08:14 | Yes agree, but as they say what goes around comes around. regards active | srpactive
04/10/2016 08:13 | Now bounced well off the support at 730 and holding to the longer term upward trend. Will accumulate today in the 750's I guess. | sogoesit
03/10/2016 20:28 | Just nice to see you back on the board Maddox. | festario |
