When my shares are under water I'm the "patient investor" when I make £10000 in double quick time I'm the Wolf of Sutton Coldfield!Needless to say I'm a patient investor most of the time

What happened to your 'bouncing off the trendline', Fester? Trackers are in now - they track the index, don't give a monkey's about GVC specifically! Use that to your advantage. Happy trading!

No tennis today, KoP202 :-)

PS Fester is always beating it!

Mylands, Woodhawk is what is known in many circles as a 'bell end'

mylands, a couple of posts disagreeing with you is not over-reacting. Perhaps you are overly sensitive? Anyway, I'm off for the day now. Happy trading!

invested more.Let's hope the external circumstances of the market stabilise. Internally GVC is very diversified, more regulated, cash generative and growing.

You seem to over react to anyone who voices an opinion. Still, each to his own in a free country.

Indeed loganair, at least some of us are aware of what's going on in the world beyond GVC!

mylands - In my opinion any falls to day in share prices will mainly be to do with....U.K. stocks are dropping Friday, by mounting fears about Deutsche Bank AG’s financial position.

Anyway, you nearly distracted me from buying some more at 719p!!

Eh? Do you own any other stocks, mylands? You seem to have tunnel vision!

The fall this morning is no more than the rise first thing yesterday morning. I think turmoil is a bit of an exageration with the footsie within 3% of its all-time high.

I'll stick with one, or more of the big investors off-loading stock at a handsome profit.

Turmoil on the markets this morning,in case you hadn't noticed mylands! This latest fall nothing to do with GVC specifically, imo. Hopefully, I've picked up some bargains this morning here and elsewhere - time will tell.

I reckon we will see an RNS soon that one of the big holders has been reducing their stake and that is what is putting pressure on the share price The gain of 50p following the interims has now been wiped out.

Picked some up at 724p. 7% less than my sell at 779p. Nice. Very happy to average down from here, if necessary.

I'm close to buying again!

No volume again, a mere 300k traded. Compare that to the days after the interims were announced when we reached over 4 million a day.

Woodhawk, all too true... I have a few of those "we are the 99%ers" too! Lol.
Hopefully to offset gains on the likes of GVC.

SPD and WMH have done well since I declared them to be cheap last week, and I expect a fair increase on them, but I no longer hold any.I piled everything back in here at 680p the other week when I had some modest profits.SPD should really be much higher with its profit generation, and WMH because of being a takeover target eventually.

I'm sure you've been well rewarded for your tenacity, mylands. Well done! I think the only share I've held that long was an old "tech boom" remnant that had lost 99.9% of it's value and was only of use as a massive loss to offset capital gains elsewhere.

Lucky you! I went in on the back of my question to my broker asking for the highest yielding stock he could find and up popped Gaming VC. Little did I think the 10% yield I first received would soon become 50% when I bought stock below a pound a couple of years later.

I only entered after the ban, that is why the industry popped onto my
radar.
