I think , that those of us who have been long term holders see the considerable value in gvc, short term fluctuations are irrelevant, so some like me an opportunity to add. The stock is not volatile like cey or hgm, I hold both and both can be heart attack inducing stock, but that's the fun in trading.

No James, I just know that it's a UK budget, and the UK Govt can do very little to affect the trading of a company who do such a minuscule part of their business in that jurisdiction.

The only investors who have lost out here are those who trade the stock by buying high and selling low. The long term investors have always made a profit backing Kenny, from below a pound to seven pounds now. Add the divs in during his period of leadership and you are up to over £10.

Any budgets moves on gambling will have little or no impact on GVC as a company, but might affect the sector share prices, temporarily affecting GVC.

Value king... not a bad move with the budget this pm and gambling could be on the agenda...not in a positive vein either. I was looking to sell but was waiting for a higher price. Might take the gamble and leave things alone. Its never wrong to take a profit though.

I suspect that Paddy Power is suffering from the same shorters as did GVC 2 months ago, Paddy Power may start looking under valued. I have no holding in PPB

The market doesn't like Paddy Power Betfair results out this morning with the share price down 5%. What a contrast to GVC!
