Unless my chart is wrong I'm happy to say that we are now in an uptrend. Expect the share price to go from strength to strength now.

taken a small initial stake today the chart looks positive for an upward move.

the volume, buys and sells, is estimated by advfn and frequently what may appear as a buy can often actually be a sale and visa verse. It dependes on how close the spread is and what kind of a trade share price your broker can deliver for you. most of these errors occur when you trade inside the spread.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can answer your question. If I'm going to be totally honest, from a technical perspective, I suspect the share price may continue trading in this 115 - 125 region for a few more days. A breakout is in the horizon imo dyor. I'm a holder and for this reason don't intend selling.

Could someone more knowledgeable than I please explain why the price keeps falling on days when there is more buy volume than sales volume? Does this mean that there is a heavy seller behind the scenes?

From this morning's operational update...

GMS' solid performance has continued with high utilisation across the SESV fleet of 95% up to the end of Q1 2015 and charter day rates being maintained at good levels.

"The outlook continues to be for strong demand driven primarily by our core Opex-related brownfield oil and gas client base, and in particular in the low cost production areas of the Middle East."

No reason to believe Wed statement will not be great. Let's just remind ourselves about the big backlog they have (secured = US$ 707m). They've got almost no spare capacity for the remainder of 2015. And are almost fully booked for 2016. Since 2007, in excess of 90% of contract extension options have been exercised!!!

I like the chart. Sp appears to have good support at 125p. GMS is a great company with fantastic fundamentals, and a superb back log. Last set of results were spotless imo.

Results webcast is a great listen on gms website. They say new contracts soon to be annouced, one concern is rates for large rigs to be lower due to fx payments in £ €. Resistance of 200 day moving average.

Just got to be patient here. It may be a few days or even a couple of weeks before share price takes off.

Nice results, not too nice amount of shares traded. Good to see a report focusing on the company strength! Give it time, let people catch on and confidence grow, hopefully a nice steady rise to 160!!
