08/8/2019 16:26 | Buyers getting their tickets for hypefest. But when all the previous hype has failed will announcing even more be any different? Of course not but the Political climate has changed and therefore desperate measures are required. But the hosts will make sure they will be fine:-) Urals is going to have to think up more BS when his takeaway doesn't get delivered. no one wants very heavy oil:-) | bigdog5
08/8/2019 15:00 | It's exactly 1 whole month since the pre Sale stabilisation started .That should be pretty much enough for legal teams Ashurst LLP and whichever magic circle buyers have engaged to have organised completion matters pre Announcement . So any day now. BTW wouldn't it be ironic if the buyers are using Clifford Chance LLP!! | urals

08/8/2019 13:57 | 228/9 on the sell. That's 7 times the trade has worked. If I was less trusting I'd think there was an organised team trading this whilst spamming takeover propaganda to keep people holding whist they fleece the mugs. | stockport loser
08/8/2019 12:42 | No takeaway then and doesn't that mean another of 1712/urals/Chinese/T The buybacks are a pointless waste of money. New ton of hype to come to keep you all filling the trough for those that can but the jam sometime possibly maybe years away. A return of the excitement about a HCL? LOL. | bigdog5

07/8/2019 21:48 | So GKP makes cash faster than it can spend it. | nestoframpers
07/8/2019 21:45 | Back to the 220 Buy signal, nice little trade to be had. Traders share. | stockport loser
07/8/2019 21:19 | It's 1.5 months nest :) But, yes, HCL will free the log jam imo. | pensioner2
07/8/2019 21:10 | True OAP , £25 mill is just 2.5 months cash generation , that is why I think GKP will spend all of it , then if the HCL is done maybe the 1st offer will come in ? | nestoframpers
07/8/2019 21:06 | Those of us who own shares don't think it's a waste of funds, Muttley, and as they are coming from a cash machine on steroids which doesn't need to conserve any more cash, it's quite conservative too. We got an extra $18m only yesterday. You don't have to keep barking from the sidelines. You could buy some shares and join in the bonanza. Switching tack is often profitable and you've done it before, albeit in less fortunate circumstances. Come on in - don't be lonely. It's well-known that optimism is better for the soul (and body) than pessimism. | pensioner2
07/8/2019 20:52 | The number is irrelevant its all a pointless waste of needed funds. No takeaway. What could the issue be? No one wants heavy oil. | bigdog5
07/8/2019 20:49 | More than twice B-U because of the currency gain and the lower number of shares in the free float due to the buyback. Which is why it was such a strange dividend declaration. | pensioner2
07/8/2019 20:44 | When the maiden dividend dropped, did anyone notice if there was joy unconfined among any of the doomsters? When the next one drops, at twice the payout, surely joy will be at least a bit unconfined, even if it is mainly very confined? | bubblingup
07/8/2019 20:00 | I know that OAP , they said they'd spend £25 mill I am assuming that will be the case since it's a drop in the ocean why not. | nestoframpers
