09/2/2017 15:40 | Norways™s DNO has stated that its July 2016 proposal to acquire Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) has expired, as certain conditions to the recent financial restructuring set by Gulf Keystone itself appear not to have been met. In a statement, the company said: Given the resulting uncertainties about Gulf Keystone asset, commercial oulook and future rights and obligations at the Shaikan field, and following a careful review of Gulf Keystone latest reserves report, DNO is prepared to consider an all cash transaction but at a meaningful discount to the previous $ 300 million equivalent cash-and-shares offer. 09/2/2017 15:30 | With the current share issue, 250p works out at around £650 million. No where near enough for Shaikan. | gkphero
09/2/2017 15:23 | 2017.....Chinese year of the takeaway. | gkphero
09/2/2017 15:23 | I personally think £2 to £2.50 would be a result not quite the £25 GKPHero is looking for. | notaramper
09/2/2017 15:10 | Re DNO info:-- Oil companies in Kurdistan marketing and selling their own oil, receiving full payment for that oil, then paying the KRG their dues, would be a major step forward for all parties concerned in Kurdistan. Fast regular payments, opportunity to open further markets and routes to market, greater incentive for oil Majors to buy into Kurdistan oil. Value added to existing oil companies operating in Kurdistan and greater incentive to increase production. For DNO to make such positive statements about this happening in 2017, it looks as though this is definitely on the cards. Would be a great move. Bring it on. Edit: Far greater appeal for the likes of China who want the oil for use in China !! | 1waving
09/2/2017 15:06 | Anyone here bought at £4 and sold at 4p and still posts here? | notaramper

09/2/2017 14:41 | "But their efforts to defy reality are not completely in vain; keeps us happily entertained at least". Never a truer word Terry. Fake, like yourself and a few others here I point to the facts and reality and its then up to others to either dismiss or believe. I never give investment advice. However, I've always believed its correct to point out the "concerns" as well as the good stuff that certain others only want to announce. Was it all about the barrels or the unmanageable expensive debt? Porosity or regular payments from the MNR? Massive Fractures or the MNR fekkin shareholders over? The list is endless. 1p is all PI's are left with. Full value is coming when and from where? | bigdog5
09/2/2017 14:33 | GKPhero: also the following "RE: DNO Presentation Today 10:24 Well that was an hour well spent, especially the Q&A afterwards. KRG budget in surplus, payments becoming more predictable, moving later in the year to a situation where the IOCs market and sell their oil, receive payments directly from those sales and then distribute funds to the KRG rather than the other way round as is the case now. IOCs getting about 1/3 of the revenue from a barrel, KRG 2/3rds so incentive for KRG to get production increasing." | oil_investor
09/2/2017 14:27 | From iii - "DNO mgmt is claiming that they are now being paid according to the PSA. DNO is still working toward marketing their own oil in 2017. If true both very positive." | gkphero |
