Genel have just given an update for Taq Taq.

Production at Taq Taq is currently given as c. 40,000 bopd, which is no more than that at Shaikan in merely "Phase Zero" of the Shaikan development programme. Jon Ferrier said in Dublin on 8 December 2016 that Shaikan output, the previous day, had been 39,500 bopd and that the field output is being constrained by export arrangements.

Looking at Taq Taq: three new wells have been drilled this year, the last of which is just completed. Despite this, the Taq Taq trend hardly appears good:

H1 2015 = 127,400 bopd
H1 2016 = 68,800 bopd
Q4 2016 = 45,000 bopd (first 12 weeks)
Current = 40,000 bopd approximately

GKP describe Shaikan on the company website as "world class". Genel's former Head of Exploration described Shaikan to his audience at the Geological Society not long ago as "second only to Kirkuk".

Yet it is Gulf Keystone which is bashed on the blogs day in and day out, with Shaikan purportedly worth almost nothing.

I think the reality is that Shaikan is a Supergiant, as Chris Garrett, Adnan Samarrai and John Stafford described it in 2010 on much lower volumetrics than now.

While you are clearly living and breathing Bob I wonder what he's doing with all the venomous emails he is sending to get people to attack you and his so called "research" (he's very thorough) lol or big police investigation, apparently my card details were being traced in October... I have offered to come forward to the investigating officer but the threat is apparently more substantial than the reality.

Ah yes while you are living and breathing Bob (lol) he is getting on with the remaining autumnal years of his life, living them to the full and isn't at all the bitter, lonely old man his persona depicts on these blogs that thinks he has "achieved " something in having a post removed.
