I've held GFF shares since March last year and I have seen it pretend to climb and then quickly fall again. The last presentation they sent me (last year) looked very exciting and I was all "yeah! It's gonna flyeeeeeeeeeeeee" But of course it was just empty promises.
So you might understand if I am not as upbeat as yourself Andy about it's prospects. Problem is they keep offloading valuable assets to the directors...

But like they say, every dog has it's day. Maybe GFF is gonna break off it's past. Who knows? But I would take profits fast if it comes before Dean and Co decide it's time to bail.

Good luck Andy. Hope your prediction comes true.

Anyone care to make a forcast on the price for Monday if results are released? Just a bit of fun and not to be taken too seriously:)

My own is 10p rising to 14p during the week.

I can only forcast on the basis of what they did last year and they did really well! I suspect we will see eps of around 1.5-2p which should lead to a large increase in the share price.

or B trades, why pay brokers fee's if you are just shuffling shares between one another

I doubt that Wole. They are not mid price x-trades. They would be if the dircetors were simply shuffling them around. They are o-trades at the full buy price. The most likely scenario is new holders. As far as the share price goes, it has risen 15% in the last 3 trading days. Not a lot I grant you but I suspect there was a large over-hang which I would think would be cleared very soon. I believe we will get to a share price of 12p+ within a month.

and if it is major shareholders wouldn't an RNS have to be announced

would those trades be marked as O trades?
shumba

More likely than not the trades are movements in holdings of existing directors/majority shareholders. I would be surprised if it were some totally new party buying in.

fair enough but someone is happy to buy big chunks at 6p

I wouldn't get too excited given that these big buys happen ever so often with no significant impact on the share price Also, good results may not translate into share price rise whilst bad results will definitely see a 25% drop. We'll see.

WOW! Someone just bought a LOT of shares. I would bet the farm that this is insider trading. Fireworks coming IMO.
