The results came in slightly below estimates but really of no significance. What is important is the outlook statement and sales growth.Very happy on both those counts.

Bearing any poor news, I will be holding these for the longer term. Reminds me of my mcgn which also had a huge seller at 185 but is now looking rather nice.

Tech stocks which are on the cusp of breaking into a bullish phase tend to have a lot of upside once the market like them.

Fwiw, I'll be at the presentation on Wednesday as well.

Agree its not ideal for all investors. But we are where we are with Gresham. I have tried to argue here that we should be told of all client wins via rns but apparently clients wins are not worthy of that. the december announcements were out of the ordinary and no one has been able to explain why they were announed and others, including tier 1's, have not.

Not sure I agree entirely.Putting news on website, specially important news, not only diminishes its importance but also doesnt guarantee that it will reach people that matter.. It becomes hit or miss depending upon whether you visit the site or not.It is an absurd way of communicating with investors imo

Exactly it doesn't have be to via RNS but continued communication by any means to all investors is welcome. That is all I have ever wanted from Gresham.

It would seem that part of GHT's new (for 2017) communications strategy is to use the web site/press releases to provide some information flow. This is very welcome and an improvement of the 'silence' that occured last year when only material RNS anniouncements were made. We still however do not get to know who the client is, simply a 'leading global brokerage firm', it would really help us PI's to have this knowledge since I am sure it is known by some.

Curious though that on a day when there is further good news the share price drops back to what appears to be the current norm of 160p although there is a large (10p) bid/offer spread. It does seem that the recent good news from Gresham has already been built into the price and was expected, if not surely the share price would have risen.

Getting back to the new GHT communications strategy, anybody know if they have managed to complete the recruitment of a 'communications guy'.

Leading Global Brokerage Firm has selected Clareti Transaction Control to improve transaction lifecycle management operations

London, 9 March 2017 – Gresham, the leading software and services company that specialises in providing real-time transaction control and enterprise data integrity solutions, is pleased to announce a strategic customer win in the United States.

A leading global brokerage firm has selected Clareti Transaction Control (CTC) as part of a plan to streamline their data processing and improve transaction lifecycle management operations. The customer provides a full range of trade execution and broker-dealer services across fixed income securities, interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, equities, equity-related products, credit derivatives, commodities, futures and structured products. CTC will be used to ensure the integrity of trading data, improve the effectiveness of controls, and reduce operational costs.

Ian Manocha, CEO, Gresham, says “We are delighted to have secured another important client win in the US. Firms are facing changes in the regulatory landscape, demand for more sophisticated financial products and services, and a need to simplify and drive down the cost of processing. This combination of market forces is creating opportunities for more agile enterprise financial technologies. Gresham is well positioned with a growing base of US customers and we will continue to invest in the North American market.”

Thanks DD.

Yes the opportinty before GHT is enormous, dare I say right place, right time and right product (now and in development).

I hope soemone quizzes GHT next week on their growth plans because currently they look very modest and the continuance of a niche player organisation.

Time to GO BIG.
