The share price move up at 10.18 am ( Market Maker HOOD,) it give me the idea that it was another trade after yours that move the share price, as you post before that time.
But I have spoted on the L2 another MM move prices at 10.04 am EVO|
Commiseration, I had a similar experience and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt until results!
Thinking of calling them and maybe that "helpful lady" (Heidi) could let us know what are their plans for the immidiate future.
Agree with Jonwig about their poor communications with share holders. No wonder the share price is in an endless decline!|

MMs playing a few games yesterday, as they are keeping the same price
though buying has gone on, and considering is a small NMS
The L2 has been the best today for some time 4 v 1

Up at both sides, that is better.
As I said earlier, by the buys of the last few days, the share price should be higher|

That profit and EPS maybe is a bit optimistic, as the profit is about 10% of sales, and EPS of 1.96, would give a share price of 12p (P.E. of 6) to 16p (P.E. of 8)

|hamidahamida: i have sent this email to ian taylor awaiting his reply
Dear Mr Taylor
Hi i am private investor could you please clarify few things
Share price has collapsed over 700% and nothing has been done by the board to
support the falling sp
why are the directors not buying shares to show confidence in the company
not enough information is givin out other than results
what is the reason behind not announcing contract wins
what is the cash/debt position
GFC was profitable before the take over what happened after the t/o even though
turnover has grown
when are you going to make profit
We the investors have suffered enough i would kindly urged the board to make
announcements when you win contracts or gain extra work so the confidence and
the share price recovers
Directors buying shares could also help inject some much needed confidence if
they think at 2p company is under valued ......awaiting reply thanks|
|egoi: Time to bring this stock back to the top. Despite an all time low this morning a market cap of 1.4 million is surely daft. Turnover over 8 million and pre-tax profit of 400k last time so simply must be worth starting a collection at this price. i bought 50k this morning and will stake build if they stay around this absurd level. Even if things are worse than last year, (no reason to think that - apart from the share price) they stil look a nice tuck away.|
|jonwig: Have just found this one through a 'new lows' filter, which I look at occasionally.
The point about the RNS in the above post might well be that revenues are going to be lumpy, and meeting expectations or not might just be a matter of contracting dates.
I haven't looked at this aspect yet, nor at the balance sheet, etc.
Obviously housebuilders are a worrisome sector, and GFC might find its share price tagging along.
Where it might be interesting is that a much larger company (Keller, KLR) is pretty acquisitive and this one would be a decent fit with their operations.
Anyway, will post back if I find something worth saying, or if I buy these.
|richandjanet: I'll precis the ic article.
Greenfield Construction is moving to new premises eight times the size of its current offices.
Hopes to grow by aquisition. Acquired by shell company Hightower for £1.8ml in cash and shares.
It's groundworks business carries out the removal of top soil sewer connections excavation and foundation laying for major housebuilders.
Trading is strong with sales in the first four months ahead by 40%. Greenfield trades on 7 times current earnings and offers considerable scope for rerating.
Certainly a lot of scope for expansion. Share price will probably move back down once those who follow tips have bought in.|
