I believe the company from which they leased equipment has done very well. Anyone know how generous the rates were, or who owned that company?

Of course, the directors own a fair chunk of the shares (awarded at zero cost, I think), so they will lose very little that way. And they will no doubt buy GFC MarkII for a song, keeping it private.

The web site is alright isn't it? This is the only share I've lost money on twice!I can't see how a company in this business cannot make money so I'm staying put. I am not sure if the new contracts are exciting signs of growth or it's just normal business flow.Either way it's that they are communicating a bit more. The directers have lots of shares so they should want to see the share price up. Let's see if they can do the job.

Gas Trader - the website is pathetic, certainly. It's changed since I last looked at it six months ago, but you'd never believe this was a public company with outside investors.

It all looks a bit of a mess but they have managed to appoint a new broker They have appointed a new broker and it's WH Ireland no less. Surely they wouldn't want to risk their reputation on such a piddly company? I see this as a postive sign.

Online dealing NMS is 10000 shares, any more and you may get less then 1P for them, what a scandal... Alegedly Ian Tylor paid a "friend" over £100K to design the web site. Pathetic :-(

Jimbo, The company is going to collapse, sooner or later! They have no money and they reducing their salaries so they can get as much as they can before decalring it insolvent. The shares are a liability, get out and quick, imo.

I can't get excited about things like payments to srl services which is Lakhani's (the former co secretary)service company nor about minor amounts in directors accounts which are now past history. It is more interesting to look at Central Plant Hire's 2005 accounts which are exempt from audit and P&L disclosure. While the net profit is only £20k, there is no directors emoluments disclosure and the fixed assets have increased sixfold. This is where there should be an independent chairman or a non-exec director to provide some re-assurance to shareholders. In their absence we should as shareholders be turning up at the agm and asking some awward questions.(I'm not volunteering as I live 400 miles away) My real concern is with the level of debtors: if these could be reduced there would be no problems with the bank but if they are not fully collectable, the company is in real difficulties.

Amazing this really is not, it's been going on for the last 10 years , dodgy Directors being given license by even bigger dodgy brokers, and the FSA say the markets are well regulated, more like well oiled for their own benefit!!!
