I don't like companies that issue results during the trading day (don't see the reason for this) so I am hoping it is 7am tomorrow which is the last day of July and they said they'd issue by end of July.

I will be getting told when results are. I'm sick of waiting and I'd rather go out on the bike then sit glued to my screen all day only to find out they are going to be 7am tomorrow so hopefully I will get told of a time.

Results Notification Update

Further to the announcement made on 6 May 2014 and following the restructuring activities of the Group during the year, the Board expects to announce its preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2014 by the end of July 2014.

6 May 2014 | 08:14am

Green Compliance has confirmed that the group finished the year to the end of March in line with management expectations. The group says it completed a successful refinancing during the year which, coupled with the divestment of its pest control and fire services divisions, has allowed it to exit the year completely focussed on its water hygiene and treatment business. The water business is now a national one-stop water management company offering all forms of water treatment, water hygiene, including Legionella control, water risk assessments, and water conservation projects such as rain water capture and grey water re-use. And teh group says the board is pleased to report that following the difficult start to the financial year the second half of the year, post re-financing and following the strategic realignment, has seen a 10% growth in water revenue over the first half of the year. The group also renewed several significant water treatment contracts in this period.

Market cap has dropped to under 6 million. Be interesting to see the cash position
of the group it could well be quite a good % of the market cap.

Going pick up a few. The business is significantly derisked since the 1p placing. I'll hazard a guess and say that results will show that this business has turned the corner. Could be the last time we will see anything like like 1.25p to buy at.

I note results are due "by the end of July".

I'm hoping that the company will demonstrate that its focus on water is beginning to pay results. Hoping for organic growth and losses to be plugged. Break even would be a great place from which to grow further and move into profit.

Thanks Butch.

GCO do indeed operate in an unloved but interesting sector. Once the PR spotlight shines here this will fly from current share price

Eight key growth markets.A532;

Smarter systems and software for domestic metering and network monitoring

*With vast potential to transform the way water and wastewater are managed, smart water is the sector's most dramatic growth area. Major opportunities include network monitoring and smart grids that link metering and monitoring.

Urban water management

*SUDS, greywater recovery and rainwater harvesting offer
major scope for growth – and not just in new-builds and new developments. The big social and economic benefits that these technologies can deliver are a key driver of innovation in this field.

low-energy treatment and better process efficiency

*Ultrapure water, wastewater treatment and optimisation of asset life/performance – these are just some areas where the need to do more for less is stimulating the search for innovative solutions.

Flood security

*From water mapping and monitoring to the need for flexible flood protection barriers, the quest for better ways of reducing the risk and impact of flooding is acquiring increasing urgency.

Wastewater reuse

*Deriving value from wastewater through energy and nutrient recovery and water recycling will lie at the heart of sustainable utility management in the decades ahead.

Fracking

*Recovery of shale gas via fracking – although controversial – is set to stay on the agenda for the foreseeable future. Environmental standards, impact mitigation, leakage management and water treatment/re-use are likely to generate significant opportunities for innovation.

Dry sanitation

*This is a key issue for cities in developing economies where there is a pressing need for approaches that generate zero or minimal wastewater.

Megacities

*By 2025, 800 million people worldwide will be living in cities of over 5 million inhabitants. This will create unprecedented demand for a whole array of innovations, such as sewage treatment techniques suited to densely populated areas.

Data compliance..

What and why?

'Compliance Management Systems are the hidden legal services market in the UK. Analysing this £1bn market involves a detailed examination of over 300 suppliers. Extracting the lessons from software developers, consultancies, surveyors, insurers, publishers, certification and procurement specialists, trainers and even some lawyers shows a revelatory picture. These are the firms that clients seek out to provide specialist, usually fixed fee, often software backed, often on-site, regulatory management services. Dispute avoidance and prevention is the aim, not dispute resolution or cheaper management. Many of the suppliers have scale, many remain independent and you will not understand this market and its opportunities by comparing a handful of metrics for a few listed companies. The market overall is mapped with unique insights and long term financial disciplines spanning several business cycles. Projections to 2015 shows a strong recession resistant market at full steam. Sectors are explored in detail including: HSE Compliance Management Systems Regulatory Consultancies Mid-Market Employee Relations Firms Safety Technology Developers Food Safety Each sector shows growth and profitability benchmarks. The scope for the market and its sectors to grow from existing profit and new business is examined. new entrants and barriers to entry are set out and compared with break even and investment horizons for start-ups explored. Leading players such as the top 10 are mapped as well as the chasing pack of the next 5 suppliers with links ot their sites or specific analysis reports for them. A summary for each sector of 'what good looks like' pulls all the benchmarks together to help with strategic planning and putting performance, planning and ambition in context.'
