Gold moving higher, and with the spectre of interest rate cuts limited. The POG in the next 12 months will be considerably higher at a guess.

Mining Capital's Alastair Ford says shares in Greatland Gold (LON:#GGP) have more than tripled in value since December, following more extremely encouraging news from the ongoing drill campaign at Havieron in Western Australia.

I recall making a small trade a few years ago sub 1p and made some dinner money. It's done very well since and definitely one to hold long term. The current level looks expensive given that projects are in their infancy. I shall be looking for buying opportunities.......

Morning all - have been sitting quietly at the back here since 2010, buying all the way from 1.2p up to 2.95p in 2011 - I accumulated around five million shares at an average of around 2p. When gold collapsed from 2012 onwards, I was well under water here and elsewhere (I am heavily overweight here and in SHG), but I sat on them for seven years, looking in occasionally to see if there was any sign of life.

I suppose I became a stale bull over that time and was grateful for the opportunity to sell a few in Jan 18 and Jan 19. Held on to about 80% of my original holding as I still believed the upside potential would be worth the downside risk. I did topslice another 10% of my holding in total (at about 2.4p, 3p, 4p and 5p) but am sitting on the rest to watch this play out.

I don't have a price target but 10p would make me very happy (that's 10p the price, not you, 10p here we come!). News will be the driver and I'm planning to wait for the Newcrest farm-in to play out, so will sit on my hands for another 12-18 months and see where we are.

I'm not into technicals but am a mathematician and the fibonacci retreat after the steep rise from around 2.2p to 5.6p would have been around 4.4p, which we hit this morning . . . not that I believe all that mumbo-jumbo!

OK - I'm getting back in my box - I'll be sitting quietly at the back if anyone wants me

All the best to patient longs

Good choice Harrison Ford. This stock will have its ups and downs but the news which we have had and which will come, will make this price look cheap imho.Hopefully one bit of news may be a TR1 saying we have an institutional buyer.Good luck.

Harrison Ford,

I`d expect next exploration report for HAVIERON second/third week in March (on an average we had one every 6 weeks)
News from the other projects could arrive anytime.

I like your humour DW! We need some here from time to time to counter some of the nonsense, especially over the past week or so :-)

IMHO your time line occurrencies COULD well be pretty accurate, as a lot of us know, but your 'tongue in cheek' dates are maybe just a little bit out, LOL! :-) DYOR

Well I'm buying this stock now regardless. Seems very cheap considering it's prospects this year.
