The best news for me was the imminent restarting of GHH's optics industry "consolidation" role. Over the next 2 years I can see "bolt-ons" adding 20% to even the soon to be sharply revised eps forecast.

BTW H2 eps for GHH was 17p - lets double that & add a bit & we have 40p eps likely in FY2011. Put GHH on its historical forward P/E of 15+ (and that's well deserved) & we get a 600p+ share price target.

Looks like they have beaten by some way.

Beaten by more than 10% and a very strong outlook.

CR - Agreed, it's been a good last few sessions ahead of the Interims tomorrow.

Now do I sell on the anticipation (& bank a v nice 182% profit in 10 months) or wait for "the news" to drive GHH's probable inexorable growth to 600p+ by Q3 2011?

On balance - let's wait for the figures.

Still holding some of my original certs bought at 67p in 1999 - sold most at £6 but always held on to a few. Have since added far more to my nominee account - but there is something very warm about those original "Artie" certs bought on the back of conversations over acoustic switches and taking over the world from a prototype stashed in a musty loft in Illminster :0)

Have made good money top-trading along the way and they have persisted as my favourite stock too - a spot shared along the way by Dyson, Carclo, Hydro and Cropper. Only regrets are putting my original profits in Durlacher - and not sticking my kneck out far further on the debt concerns last year.

Held up well today amid sea of red. Maybe results due at 30th November comfortably ahead of market expectations with record order book going forward is concentrating the minds of any would be sellers.

All these sales this week as the bid price drops!

Where there is a seller there must be a buyer.

Are the brokers working the market and mopping them up on behalf of a client who sees the value of this company or maybe how it fits with their own?

Sold half my holdings today for a fourfold gain. There needs to be some profit taking now as GHH has been racing up almost vertically since August. Way too fast too soon.

chart from early 2009 just hasn't stopped going.
i can see serious resistence at 500p mark, but I'm a wait-and-see type so I will ride the train for a good while yet.
Good quality company is all i hear, so a solid hold for me

Cracking starement - can see these going way higher - they tend to keep beating once they start and in the past these have had quite a decent rating too imo.
