have to agree you are right about consolidation and bolt-ons - it is probably now time for a breather. Those sells were "forced" - calculated if you like but the only way is onwards and upwards for GHH - in the absence of course of some global disaster which would affect all our holdings. To reach higher ground GHH must expand further, make these acquisitions and make ground-breaking contracts. Like you I believe they are in a perfect position to make quick earnings-enhancing deals. I am confident that in 18 months todays share price will look like a steal - dyor

no idea on that one mate...could it be that the family were asked to release them to provide more free float....kind of .if you wont we'll issue more shares and you're holding will be diluted...so..you choose....

Yeah, true electronica, riding on a freebie now though... And the freebies double what I originally put in so can't complain. I'd love that 1000p though.

Too early, eh ................. just a bit!

I will start top slicing at 500p having bought at 145p in January.

My own forecast is for 600p around the end of next year - with the GHH "consolidation" activities restarting before the end of this year.

Still pencilling in 1,000p within 36 months.

Well, top sliced my original stake out earlier at 340.1 - was well over due having held from 108. Really happy with things here, just wished I'd put a lot more in back then as it was just a side punt. Good luck and lets hope some news comes soon.

It's about time that GHH restarted their optics industry consolidation programme.

There's plenty of v good looking $5-10m buys out there that could be immediately earnings enhancing and product portfolio strengthening.

At this share price all of us would (or should) welcome a 5-10% dilution for the right "bolt-ons". Perhaps there's something in the wind!

Trading update expected early Oct. Strong trading update recently by Renisaw and others means expectation continue to improve.

nice steady move upwards and thru the 3£ barrier. With the market relatively stable GHH should continue to blaze a trail even in the absence of any new (recent)significant statements. Makes me think that we are due positive newsflow. DYOR

The buy recommendation was made on 16/7 when the share price was 273.

I'm now beginning to think that we might hit that 600p target a lot sooner than even I expected. Perhaps by the end of next year!

Thanks for that Electronica - just went through their recent results and really there seems to be so much potential - another piece of positive newsflow would kick the price on. I guess they also have plans to move out of AIM in the medium term.

GHH is good value right up to 600p before the end of Q1 2013.

600 p is the point at which the new special Director's Options/LTIP package maxes out & the top team get awarded over £12m. Not a bad little earner!

These guys are going to hit this target way before time in my view

seems to be pushing on nicely despite current market sentiment. Wonder at what price it ceases to be "GOOD VALUE"?
