The man who presided over value destruction has thankfully departed.

Shares up 12.8% so far on the news............

Onwards and upwards I feel from here.......

LOL

Yes massive shareholder value destruction seen here.

Hopefully STI would dump the GRL board on takeover, if it happens!

Very latest STI NOVEMBER presentation and Bob Foster presenting next week at Mines and Money.

has two pages dedicated to Goldstone and "Tenement acquisition in major structural corridor"

If STI can throw the oxide resource of c. 100k into a local JV and are prepared to add some cash to drill and add resources then the current Market Cap of less than £0.8m at 1.25p will be ridiculous. Huge risk / reward here.

kingivor.... you lost a few quid and will probably end up an STI holder...but management at GRL are fighting for their lives and on their last run. I had hoped for a bit of good news followed by the obligatory cash call....but it's not to be. Although they have t/o white wash in place....that only applies up to 75% but with a market cap of just over £1m, I think this is the route they'll take,

Kingivor.... I was so disappointed with the last rns, especially as they promised a batch of them before the year end that I moved my entire holding here over to Aureus..it's still a west African Gold miner which is about to go into full production....nothing seems to be happening here...except the emphasis on cash conservation.(I can do that without getting out of bed) Good luck to them.

rns out.... The way I read it was they've spent over $800k and got nothing to show for it. I expected drilling results but got a repeat of Auger drills. They're down to $500k...that's not enough to cover salaries at 50%, then they come up with...

'Further opportunities are continuing to be investigated in the immediate vicinity of the Homase/Akrokerri Project, which not only have the potential to significantly improve the economics of Homase/Akrokerri, but also have the potential to add considerably to the Company's portfolio.'

Jurie Wessels

The problem with that statement is that by this time next year there will be no 'Company's portfolio'. GRL will get sucked into Stratex and it'll be goodbye Jurie Wessels.....and I'll end up as an STI shareholder.

The url below was the big news this year....now with further drill results the JORC could go up to 1m and then it's game on

'Since the year end we have concluded negotiations with our partner at Homase, Cherry Hill Mining Company Ltd ("Cherry Hill"), to immediately increase our interest from 65% to 90%...'

News probably Monday then; certainly by Weds 31st.Good chance of a positive update and with market cap at the ask of around £1,65M any sniff of a JV ..well people will be looking at this company with a 600k jorc and wondering how the hell the market overlooked it.all imo.

Nice find Shavian... 'Randgold and AngloGold Ashanti will form a new joint venture company.'

AngloGold Ashanti Ltd -with 11.49 %....The largest shareholder in Stratex....and Stratex the largest shareholder in GoldStone Resources......

The jig saw pieces are coming together.

'Randgold chief executive Mark Bristow said "Obuasi is a world-class resource. We now have to see if we can convert it into a world-class mine. We have a long history of cooperation with AngloGold Ashanti and we look forward to working with them again on charting a new course towards a viable future for Obuasi."

'ANGLO GOLD ceased mining operations in the Homase License area during 2003 at a time when the gold price fluctuated between US$320 and US$380 per ounce and at a reported operating cost of US$220 and $280 per ounce'.
