Sorry shareholder you posted up as I was typing, thanks for your support, as ever though it's a waste of time trying to post up any contrarian views on here.KB2 - you need to look up what a contract is, by definition it's a legally binding agreement - in other words its current and it should be so water tight that nothing within it can be changed by either party. Clearly GDP's contracts are not worth the paper they are printed on if a client can change payment terms - GDP didn't change the terms, their CLIENT RR did.......unbelievable!.

Agree with DD yet again and I suppose if you lose 40k in a week your views need to be on the optimistic sideGDP have a track record for bad contracts When the gold price started to fall from $1800 this was the beginning of GDP troubles as they had agreed the price of the contact upfront not allowing for any fall in gold price At the helm at that time was our FD IanNow we have Hansie negotiating with RR and look what happened thereSo who is negotiating in SA ? Maybe someone can tell me?If DD had been employed to look at contacts GDP would be in a much better place and the issue is what other contacts have been screwed up ? I can't see anyone in this organisation that has the experience in contacts, yes loads of technical skills in processes Gold but real commercial awareness We still have Ian as FD, same guy that allowed a single Refinery that nearly brought the company downGerard is a great PR guy and comes across really well but his last couple of jobs did not work out wellAnd our new Chairman comes out with a bullish statement that could have been written by Brian This is why the share price is not moving as new shareholders are wary , mistrust all the positive RNS's and if it was not for a few individuals building stakes in GDP we would be below 5pI think there is a big overhang of shares owned by a few people that if they tried to sell would crash the share price They only way out for them is if GDP gets bought But let's see

They have not changed the terms of any current contracts. They have changed the terms of future contracts from the standard of the past.

Not a major issue IMV. The only inference I gained from it is the less we have to do with RR the better.

The next update is April.

The only contract that has gone wrong is the RR one, and the independent examiner apparently lays the blame at RR.

RR didn't dictate their "own payment terms irrespective of contractual obligations". They said that they would pay extend their payment terms in order to get back what they had miscalculated on the silver contract.

In order to prevent an addition to their working capital GDP have passed this on.

Tks DD.

I have had other stocks where I have bought in and seen projects cancelled or funding not arriving and had to bail at a loss, so I have definitely been there.

I learned from those mistakes and simply upped my game regarding research, position sizing, entry/exit strategy, risk management and focus. I have long since made the money back elsewhere, however, those errors and losses some years ago have not been forgotten.

You've been spouting that since July last year. Where's the share price gone since then?, no where. Stick to your beliefs, the numbers, ignore everything else, it will be fine!.

IMV if you look at GDP through the prism of an old RR contract then you are missing the story.

The facts of the RR dispute appear to be that GDP has won the argument and the relationship with RR is damaged, as evidenced by their change of the terms of contracts.

That won't stop record production though.

It's not just about the numbers.Unless they sort the RR issue the share price will struggle to break and go beyond 7.It's lower now then pre news of RR despite the positive interims.....love is blind.

Lolololololololollolololol beware folks beware he arch ramper Supid one has just posted the following over on the Good News only BB.......

The company has delivered on some of its objectives in roughly the time they stated, the share price has settled at 6.5/6.75p, which is around 250% higher than 20 months ago and the numbers are showing that what has been done is working.

He forgets to say that today's share price is 1500% lower from when they call a profit warning which was a really stupid thing to do just after announcing the payment of a divi

Some accounting team they had.......oh yes they still have them.

The EPS in H1/17 was 0.5p which puts us on a p/e of 6.5 if the second half repeats the first half. This is about the traditional rating for GDP.

The next operating figures in April will have the first benefit of the investment in Kili plus some pretty good production numbers. IMV we will be well over 7 if the operating numbers are good and there is news of stage 2 commisssioning, whatever the RR news is.

We shall see.

Just popped in, thumbs up S7 to your post 2406.Still think until RR issue put to bed this will go nowhere / drift lower.............and it's definitely not just about the numbers, hasn't been for a long time.Sure most who get in on the lows will be rewarded handsomely, for me it's a lesson learnt.DDps still don't understand why you give the scumbag Miller your time.

Yep, the numbers will provide the narrative, which will lead to confidence and trust building and a stronger footing under a higher shareprice.

I am watching, miller.

The company has delivered on some of its objectives in roughly the time they stated, the share price has settled at 6.5/6.75p, which is around 250% higher than 20 months ago and the numbers are showing that what has been done is working.

It must have been awful for you to have bought at 16.5p only to watch the share price crumble to 1.75p. Oh well miller, with that track record its no wonder no one takes any notice of your inane ramblings.

Yes well stupid one your opinion is reflected in the current share price

We are all vulnerable to the 'ol banana slip but we don't all lie to cover the fact that we slipped.

GDP lied and lied to cover up their gross negligence and the market is as it always is....unforgiving.

Hence we find today's lack of confidence......and this will worsen as they forage into South America.......just watch!

Miller,

Since when did I use the word "official"

I said gazetted. In other words put into the public domain.

I refer to my earlier answer, an individual did not simply wake up and announce this.
It was discussed at many a meeting beforehand and plenty of players would have been involved in the discussions.

Demetri will have become aware of the impending gazetting of the ruling as it moved through the processes and is unlikely to have been shocked and unaware of the moves afoot.

He left before it was gazetted as he realised his mining plans were in tatters, the money raised on the market for the other two explo projects was gone with nothing to show for it and he was left with two recovery plants which he knew were profitable cash cows, however, he was not interested In them anymore and had delegated responsibility for them in an earlier rns. I also expect he realised that if the gold price dropped the company would be stuck with a lot of high priced feedstock that it would make a loss on.

In my opinion he saw the writing on the wall and realised what a mess things had become and left before being pushed. You will have noted also the significant selling of shares from the trust that demetri's infant children were beneficiaries of around the same time.

It has taken a monumental effort to get this company to where it is today and some of the trust rebuilt has been solidified, however, there is much further to go before this company will enjoy the level of support it once did.

It is well on its way to that status and posters like you, who endlessly deramp and bad mouth everyone will have no impact on the journey into further growth and profitability. The company has demonstrated in the past that it doesn't need help slipping on banana skins from people like you, it is capable of that all by itself. I am seeing great progress and sure there will be set backs and delays, however, as long as they don't go back to scoring own goals then the trust, confidence and performance will get stronger.

Stupis one stop making feb le excuses to cover over your obvious deficiences.

Nothing becomes OFFICIAL UNTIL........ IT IS OFFICIAL.

AS AN UNTRUSTED COMPANY GDP NEEDS SNAKE LIKE SUPPORTERS SUCH AS YOU IN ORDER TO CONTINUALLY ATTEMPT TO BEGUILE THE UNWEARY into putting their hard earned cash into this dying dawgie
