Just took a tiny top up to give me a rounded number of shares.

Bought 29482 at 1.4p and not showing on either the LSE or PLUS.

Trade timed at 08.48

All,

I think today will be a good day to top up.

There will probably be an RNS tomorrow afternoon after the AGM.

Hopefully with a proposed new name change and highlights from the presentation that is reportedly being shown at the AGM. I topped up on Monday and may grab a few more today.

All IMHO of course.

Rudolph has reduced expenditure as shown in the Annual Results.

The precarious state of our finances led us to significantly reduce our company overhead costs and we now maintain small offices in Peru and Colombia only, with most of the administration and operations management managed from our office in Bogota. Our annualized General & Administrative expenses will have fallen from around GBP3.55 million per annum (of which GBP300,000 was capitalized) in 2012 to around GBP1 million in the current year. We will spend as much of our spare cash as possible on our exploration and production assets to fulfil their potential to the maximum.

As far as we are aware, nothing has been done to retrieve any monies from the previous BOD.

I don't come on here very often as nothing has really happened lately & i don't have that large a position.I asked about the accounts as there was no balance sheet shown in the accounts RNS which is unusual.
I realise that the expenses were as a result of the previous board but what action has been taken by the new board to recover the excessive expenditure if any?

Fingers crossed that Nancy will fund us , so the risks are almost free on the fantastic free carries we have.
I think after the AGM the brokers notes should be released and be very upbeat.

Now at the lowest levels since re quoted despite in the following six months, clearing the debt, completing offshore farmout with a three phase carry, securing 100% of NBM, increasing oil production, completing farmout and carry on Rosa Blanca, putting cash in the bank with more to come through the farmout. To add to a seismic and two well carry on block XXI.

Didn't have most of that when valued at gbp75m last year now valued at gbp16m.

Trying to gather some cash together for another top up before the AGM.
I am convinced we are about to turn around now, the valuation is ridiculous with the current situation.

TG,
I think the The London Stock exchange would step in if anything untoward was happening regarding a share-holder having more than 3% and needing to report. They are responsible for the share register and the simple check that this would take must be in place for all stocks.

Because we don't know if he is desperate for cash or if he needs funds for some new project or if he does not want to be part of a company that he cannot control. I doubt that we will be told officially if he is buying or selling.

Why would JB or anyone sell at this price, unless they didn't think they would recover?

Nah, not happening. Volume is too low and we all know (nay, hope) that we're onto a good thing now that the management are doing a proper job. Any new investors looking at GOO will find it hard to overlook the goings-on of the last year, so until we've got a comprehensive update on NBM and some idea of UOG's plans for Z34 I suspect folks are looking elsewhere for short term gains.

But he knows they might well be worth a fortune ?

Also, he hasn't declared anything yet, which he should.

Someone mentioned they thought "he who shall not be named" may be drip feeding shares onto the market.

I am convinced that is what is happening, he has a large amount to get rid of and get rid of, would be the thing he is likely to do, considering the way he was put off the Board; would you want to be invested in a company that fired you? Thoughts?...........

TG, Remember that in the past GOO generally does well when the rest of the market is falling. I hope that this trend remains. Come on Roodie update us with some super news!

The thing is that punters on aim like to see potential rns's in the pipeline so they can quickly increase their layout.

When do you see tge next rns?

Since they took 100% of NBM and got the farmout it's been all downhill for Gold Oil.

I doubt if it will be televised.

It may be on the gold oil website by friday though in one form or another.

Randaman, I have faith in Gold Oil and our BOD but not in the market. We should be in the high 2p range now - as a minimum. The reaction of the AIM market to everything is illogical, not just with GOO but with all shares.

I thought that once the day and short term traders stopped playing with the price, it would begin to move up above 2p. Instead, it has settled out below 1.5p. It's very frustrating but we will get there in the end and I will not be selling any shares until we get past 6p at least.

I keep wondering if 'you know who' is dripping shares onto the market to suppress the price. If that is the case then good riddance.

Edit: The critical news yet to come, is the extension of the NBM licence. Development of that field could make us all very rich.

We actually need confirmed production increases.

The potential mentioned in the year end report was encouraging but we need a tangible improved income stream.

If we get some rns's indicating higher production the share price will go up. Summer months or not

TG, I also am down about the same amount. Have always been positive and particularly since we came out of suspension but the last couple of weeks of no movement at all despite all the good news makes me worry. 5 or 6p does not seem too much to ask of this share price even in the short term - do u think that is realistic?
