05/12/2015 14:55 | We shareholders lost out .. Do you really think Short selling providers are going to pay out???? ... Reality check required !!!! | bagpuss62
05/12/2015 08:47 | I'm short with City and awaiting payment still also. | funkmasterp12
05/12/2015 01:11 | Just re-read the RNS s and I see the administrators will be giving their report within 8 weeks from 3 November. Maybe that's what we're having to wait for. A bit frustrating compared to the quick decision on rating AFREN at 0p . | scantrader
04/12/2015 13:31 | BTW, JakNife thanks for your earlier analysis which was most helpful and I'm sure saved some people money as well as helping make some for others. As for the few who were beyond help I think the term You can lead a horse to water but.... comes to mind. Hope you've had a look at INTQ. Looks very interesting. | merkage
04/12/2015 13:29 | Yes thanks Jak. I haven't been paid off at zero yet either by Int Inv - what would be a handy 3+ grand. Obvious question - when will it be moved off Crest? | scantrader
04/12/2015 13:18 | Many thanks JakNife. I was was wondering if city were pulling a fast on me! I was led to believe by someone else that IG had settled and thus effectively paid out on the shorts. Obviously a little more patience needed. 8-) | merkage
04/12/2015 12:34 | Did anyone have a position in GBO with City Index? Long or short. I'm just wondering how they are settling all their trades. I know IG settled them all at zero on the 1st Dec. | merkage
03/12/2015 12:44 | Is there any tie-in with INTQ? Same bent auditors. How does this company still have a licence to operate? Gallant 02 - any news re suing this bunch. If they have PI insurance it must be worth a go on 'no win, no fee' as you said, and there is no money in GBO to go after. | slaccs
03/12/2015 09:29 | You are stupid. There is a reason not to bother! | elcapital
03/12/2015 09:11 | Go after the auditors Grant Thornton, here is why....... Grant Thornton fined $3 million Grant Thornton has been fined by the US Securities and Exchange Commission Alexandra Frean US Business Editor Published at 12:01AM, December 3 2015 Grant Thornton has been fined $3 million and agreed to forfeit $1.5 million in fees for missing fraud when auditing two American companies that were later found guilty of improper accounting. The US Securities and Exchange Commission said that Grant Thornton, which has admitted wrongdoing, repeatedly violated professional standards and “failed to exercise due professional care and scepticism”. Through its inaction, the auditor allowed the companies — Assisted Living Concepts (ALC), a provider of housing for older people, and Broadwind Energy, an alternative energy company — to make numerous false and misleading public filings, the SEC said. The audits involved two Grant Thornton partners: Melissa Koeppel, who agreed to pay a $10,000 penalty and accept a five-year suspension, and Jeffrey Robinson, who agreed to pay a $2,500 penalty and a two-year suspension. Ms Koeppel and Mr Robinson did not admit or deny guilt. “Grant Thornton auditors recognised that representations by ALC and Broadwind management were questionable. Yet in the end, [it] accepted faulty explanations as the truth and failed to demonstrate adequate professional scepticism or obtain corroborating evidence,” David Glockner, of the SEC, said. Grant Thornton said that it was pleased to have resolved the investigations | j777j

03/12/2015 08:43 | This article was released yesterday on InternetQ, another greek business. I think it's a really good read (fwiw, I don't think TW wrote this article) and has a relevance to Globo as there are just so many similarities, including the fake websites/business and fake reviews on the app store. | firede
