14/1/2014 12:33 | a reversal into GBR would seem a logical next step. | still waiting
14/1/2014 12:14 | The assets Shale Energy were (or are) buying were for £10m, though not in cash. They would have to raise that though to move forward in the next couple of years. So a min value of £20m for half sounds right. Where gbr end up is interesting. Gerwyn Williams (Coastal) owns 29% of gbr and when the first deal fell through we had "Coastal Oil and Gas director Gerwyn Williams said negotiations for his firm to buy Eden Energy's share of the exploration licences were at an "advanced stage". So make of that what you will! | godolphin
14/1/2014 12:14 | I mean look at RBD! | ryan83

14/1/2014 11:55 | thanks godolphin - only really looked at this the last few days so good to hear from someone whose been invested a while. That ties in with the expected news updates over the next few months - stated in Sept 13.....news due then. | ryan83
14/1/2014 11:54 | Coincidence? or is there a link? | ryan83
14/1/2014 11:53 | Yes just the 17 which are Uk Methane, and Coastal owning 50%. the other 3 of Eden are 100%. I believe I posted a few months back that UK Methane were on the local (West) news and they said they couldn't comment on anything because they were negotiating a corporate transaction. Seems like a rather long corporate transaction but who knows now that shale gas is hotting up. | godolphin
14/1/2014 11:52 | Shale energy set up March 2013, GBR new investment strategy March 2013. | ryan83
14/1/2014 11:49 | actually Eden & UK Methane (and therefore GBR)share all of the South Wales and Somerset PEDL's | ryan83

14/1/2014 11:42 | an older article - 2011! | ryan83
14/1/2014 11:41 | read that page, reads well! Eden are interested in 17 PEDL's - are they the same 17 as GBR? or is it the 7 only? | ryan83
14/1/2014 11:32 | co. should update ASAP to highlight it's interests in the 17 pedl whilst the spotlight is on the sector.. accompanying news perhaps? | still waiting
14/1/2014 11:21 | update should be shortly as per sept announcement "in the next few months". That was over 3 months away now - will be four months on 25th Jan..... | ryan83

13/1/2014 14:15 | With councils now getting significant revenues let the fracking boom commence. | still waiting
13/1/2014 14:14 | hxxp://frack-off.org "South Wales: Coastal Oil & Gas Ltd has obtained planning permission to drill core samples for shale at a site near Maesteg, Bridgend in South Wales. UK Methane has planning permission to drill one shale gas well near Maesteg and one well near Glynneath.
