I am not in the know - but as we near updates - I expect some additional news on a disposal - this is normal trend
maybe gold mine r rail network as rumoured of late

technically should have no real resistance to 225/230 but current poor world pmi/gdp not helping combined with oil decline

rio good news flow plus still paying divi

with so few options to invest safely - with such poor returns worldwide - basic materials and china spending - driving some commodities - I am still in for a while -

Metal prices and oil have risen and Glen's debt has been reduced, so doesn't that make the company worth ALOT more?

TSMITH........can you tell us why you think GLEN is suddenly worth £2.50 per share?

Is there something in the metals and mining world you know and could share with us which will make GLEN shoot up to your "clear blue skies" price?

Remember that GLEN still needs asset sales to reduce its debt and management is working on this all the time in what can best be described as a topsy trvey trading world.......

125p is solid support --- seems like 150p is the new support level as long as we stay above that for next 6-8 weeks. In the meantime, the results should underpin the new support level - assuming they are on track.Longer term, share price will track profits or hyperinflation - whenever we get that ( could be long wait -- just like the rest of mature economies )

I don't think today's movement is relevant to the Xmas of target. We've had a lot of short term news recently that has caused volatility which can be discounted. Longer term I think Glencore will recover to the levels mentioned above as I've always thought they were fundamentally sound. However, I'm not sure where copper, coal and oil are going in the next six months and ultimately this is what is going to drive the share price beyond the 220p level. So 230/250 yes, by Xmas, not sure I could make that call.

I see 230/250 before xmas
