30/11/2018 12:42 | Yes! Still have a large number at 1700p. The aim is to buy/sell/buy/sell the lower priced ones on the way up to >1700p while reinvesting the profits and collecting the dividends (and reinvesting them) | tradermichael

29/11/2018 11:56 | Maybe that the price being asked is too high? Hence only one bidder left at the table. (fwiw. Extended my long position in GSK just now). | alphorn
29/11/2018 11:53 | "In response to recent press speculation, GSK confirms that consideration is being given to a potential transaction that includes a merger of GSKCH." Outright sale preferred surely? | fangorn2
29/11/2018 11:27 | This usually gets a nose bleed and altitude sickness around 16...it needs to rise strongly through 16 plus and hold to maintain, questionable what catylysts beyond horlicks to hold it up tho, a surprise higher price for Hor’ might do it. | porsche1945
29/11/2018 11:16 | Trader Michael 1620p is resistance if we get through that level, I am expecting 1702p ish but there could be flip flops along the way, I am just holding as the quarterly divi is still attractive Good steady progress so far GL | ny boy
28/11/2018 20:25 | I would think it's fair to say TM that at this point the price will already have been agreed and there are just the legal and other arrangements to agree and implement. Hopefully the price is at or above that speculated, it's certainly a valuable and growing product in the Indian market so shouldn't go cheap. Fingers crossed for a good reaction when revealed. | warranty
28/11/2018 13:42 | The way the market has been reacting to very positive GSK news lately, it will be said that the sale was 'already in the price'. What could impact is if they achieve a price significantly in excess of 'expectations', e.g. >$4 billion, or no sale at all. | tradermichael
28/11/2018 13:20 | Are these sales of Horlick already factored into the share price or should we expect some positive movement once tha sales become a reality? | jadeticl3
28/11/2018 13:05 | tks for info traderm | billionairepaddy
28/11/2018 12:54 | This particular sale is the India Horlicks Division (Horlicks and Boost), where GSK owns a 72.5% stake. However, in July last year, Glaxo reported that it planned to sell its Horlicks malt drink brand in the UK, resulting in more than 300 job cuts. The firm said it would offload the business in the UK and close the site in Slough, England where the malted drink is made as part of plans to focus on its core drugs division. | tradermichael
28/11/2018 12:45 | is offer for all of Horlicks or just the india section | billionairepaddy |
