Go Emma! Looks like she is really shaking the place up at long last.

Share price performance has been great since start of the year and this article reinforces the growing credibility of a rehabilitating and truly re-focusing GSK under an astonishing new CEO who is just getting into her stride.

Very encouraging indeed.

Blimey - sounds like the daily express yesterday with 'pound goes ballistic'. It was up 0.3%.
Today it is down by about the same amount.
The GSK share price, although affected by the £ should not be totally dependent on it.
The BOD's actions should be making it rise over the mid to long term. Jury is still out on that one though! keep taking the divis

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has shortlisted Nestle, Unilever and Coca-Cola for the second round of bidding for its Indian nutrition business - GSK Consumer Healthcare, according to a report by The Economic Times. GSK is looking to sell 72.5 percent stake in its Indian subsidiary.
The auction process had witnessed global companies including Danone, PepsiCo, General Mills, Reckitt Benckiser and Kellogg’s compete alongside Indian companies such as ITC and private equity funds such as KKR to purchase the GSK's consumer portfolio, which includes nutrition drinks like Horlicks.

15 years ago the talk was 'should we join the Euro' everyone now can see what a disaster this would have been. We need the £ to stay where it is haha.
