Hi Hypocrite -

Thanks for the info hopefully market makers will raise the NMS in London as trading 1000 shares is a bit of a waste considering you have to pay 1% stamp duty.

Any thoughts on results tomorrow?

Cheers

Hi Hypocrite,

How are you getting on?, sorry not been on this board of late, just leaving GLB tucked away for long-term. Noticed Market makers mucking this one about - I am holding for 180-200p.

The ingredients biz and the UK negotiations together may restore this

Yeah some people taking note at long last. I can see another 10-20% for the patient investor, nice dividends to pick up along the way!

A trade before open????
That's a first in a long time....
followed by little people's nibbles.....
sounds like worker ants in a uk company
are expecting a deal.....
no one buys in 1000 lots from Ireland....
these are uk pounds...albeit very small lots...
I think I hear a train comin......for sure
somethin's comin!!!
BUT
Caveat Emptor....which means
let the buyer beware!!!

Hypocrite,

Thanks again for the info, much apreciated. Ive not been trading much on the markets of late, being selling a few stocks recently. Still holding all of me GLB though, stock still looks good value to me and I think the company is worth nearer 500 million.

Chart looking like its breaking out!

Hi Hypocrite,

Thanks for the info mate, like you say GLB listing a bit pointless if MMs only want to trade 1000 shares!

It looks fairly quiet for the moment, when are the next results due?

Level 2 shows that the most Glanbia's one and only UK broker wants to trade
is 1000 shares...proving the point that for any reasonable volume
you have to sell to the Dublin boys......who have 10 times that posted
for Bid and Ask........so you get the small company
action....if there's volume you'll get the price....in between times
you'll be sorely tried!!!!

Yeah I was a bit disapointed with the fall today, hopefully we will see a bounce next week - markets looking a bit flat today.

Have a good weekend .
