01/3/2006 21:06 | Its truelly amazing the lack of interest this has in the private investor arena, not a bad thing i guess and still an opportunity to get in at a price below what was once seen as fair value on IPO. | 2kpromoe
01/3/2006 09:32 | don't think so now! | sussex02
01/3/2006 09:28 | Bought 5000 @ 1.25p. | dunnie
28/2/2006 17:48 | RAB have always believed this stock has the most potential of all the companies in the portfolio with the exception of FOGL,i discount FOGL because it is a pure gamble there may oil or water but with GPN there is already a very real business. | dunnie
28/2/2006 16:35 | Me neither Edmond the trade was 50x nms which would prompt notification by the broker within an hour of the order being placed. Its not as if the nms is over 75 and could be delayed for a day for instance. I'm surprised the mm's had so much stock on their hands, i believe it also reflects how illiquid this stock could be. I did a dummy buy online and couldnt get filled for over £2,000 worth. | 2kpromoe
28/2/2006 16:31 | I don't see how anyone could snap up that amount at 102.5p, at 15.16. Bizarre. | edmondj
28/2/2006 16:22 | That delayed 150k buy at 102.5 i think did it. Not your average joe punter buying this. | 2kpromoe
28/2/2006 15:43 | There is also a pretty high degree of speculation in small resources shares currently, everyone looking for the next one to jump aboard. Fund managers as well as private punters. | edmondj
28/2/2006 15:41 | Number 5 on the leader board now. | 2kpromoe
28/2/2006 15:41 | Edmond, I saw the same kind of activity with AEN and EEL before they both surged. Both witnessed insider buying in the days leading up to their news releases whcih ultimately set them both off on track. This stock has dwindled since IPO despite some relatively informative news releases and now this today, it does look good in the mean time, AND I think we're alone on here, this thread hasnt witnessed any other pi to date, i guess its as it doesnt have "oil" in its name. They come in 3's too! | 2kpromoe
28/2/2006 15:37 | This is the most bizarre trading situation I can recall: MM trades of 3,000 shares driving a re-rating! Or so it would seem. Can't believe a couple of 50k trades have cleaned out the books in the last 2 days. Not good if a load of trades are declared after-hours, then bullish news... | edmondj
28/2/2006 15:29 | Edmond, i know Rab still hold this is their number 4 holding in their flagship Special Situations fund and have held since pre ipo. I heard some were predicting it to be bigger than AEN was for them and time has proved otherwise....so far that is | 2kpromoe
28/2/2006 15:27 | Presumably there is a load of trades as yet to be reported; hardly surprising enough people shun GPN if/when AIM is barely transparent! You can't reconcile what's reported with the price hike. | edmondj
28/2/2006 15:22 | Edmond. Glad (excuse the pun) i'm not the only one to have noticed this. Its about time too we saw some action in the stock. My doubled up position at 85p is looking very savvy right now ;-) | 2kpromoe
28/2/2006 15:20 | 20% rise in a day should prompt an announcement to clarify. | edmondj
28/2/2006 15:17 | Not a whisper on advfn yet the City seems to be piling in to this. I would be expecting news shortly by the looks of things. | 2kpromoe
27/2/2006 12:58 | a little bit of activity this morning, chart looking good for a turn around. | 2kpromoe
19/12/2005 21:00 | still watching this one Bruce ;-) | plain vanilla
19/12/2005 19:47 | Is there some kind of mistake - this stock has experienced two successive days of rises? Shock, horror; I may have to lie down to contain myself. | bruce meinhoff
20/11/2005 18:38 | thank you for the note, cerrito. | pbracken
19/11/2005 15:27 | Pls see posting I put on MNA board I was tempted following wednesday's weakness to buy into GPN but concluded with my holdings in MNA, as well as LTR and VML I had quite enough in start up mines. quote Thought of my shareholding in MNA when I heard from the people at Gladstone Pacfic Nickel(GPN) yesterday when they were in London. This has many similiarities to MNA..ie a big mine where a feasability study is being conducted to get finance(MNA much more advanved) but in the case of GPN they have the full support of the government of Queensland as well as the Federal Govt and have a good working relationship with the traditional owners and so avoid all the hassle that MNA has with the locals and does not get caught up in the power politics between the local Piura Governor and Lima.not to mention having the ngo's putting their 2 cents in...not to mention also that GPN's mine is 100 miles from the coast on flat land. Another similiarity is that the shares of both are marking time(actually in the case of GPN falling a bit) as they await the feasibility study conclusion. unquote | cerrito
16/11/2005 18:05 | vanilla - see the cause of the damage now; couple of hefty T trades substantially below yesterday's closing price. Do you know of any analysis of this company - looked at the website but no independent links provided. Thanks in advance (though no worries if you can't help). | pbracken
16/11/2005 13:57 | pbracken, advfn stats are sh1te. Interesting mark down given the trades today so far, Rab Capital mustnt be happy. | plain vanilla |
