15/3/2012 11:55 | 33-34 cents ? | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 11:54 | so good news, any clues on what the share price will look like tomorrow? Thanks | sweepie2
15/3/2012 11:54 | hiddendepths So GGG got more AZX at 25 something ,is that good price ? what does that mean for GGG,azx price wise. | jaws6
15/3/2012 11:50 | lf - yes, I think it was worth keeping a bit quiet for a couple of days! So a smidge over 59% for GGG holders and we can work out the equivalent price of AZX shares with only the exchange rate to factor in. | hiddendepths
15/3/2012 11:36 | I see they slipped in another 20k buy while no one was looking . | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 11:28 | Ramrod - at 50p I'll join you and buy the second round! | bhoddhisattva
15/3/2012 11:13 | This is starting to look rosy but time for back slapping at 50p + imo . Here is to those sunny days ahead and I will buy the beers . ----3 | captain ramrod
15/3/2012 11:10 | GREAT STUFF only 289 million shares in total ... It was worth not posting for a couple of days ............. | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 11:05 | Price will open flat tomorrow or small rise, fireworks when merger is complete imo | sweepie2
15/3/2012 11:02 | Guys, Lawton is a NED. He has been diluted, simple. He's a 62 year old gentlemem, let him enjoy his last few days at the helm of AZX. New Chairman, new CEO, new opportunities, time to milk it. Smarty | xclusive2
15/3/2012 11:00 | HD Lets agree to disagree. | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 10:57 | HD, agreed. Liability Lawton should go. Or at least be sidelined to where he can't do any more damage. | 7kiwi
15/3/2012 10:52 | Sure lf - but some of his behaviour is illegal however you look at it and quite a lot more is questionable at best. I could name half a dozen things he's done in the last couple of years that are worthy of an ASX investigation at the very least. For all his undoubted strengths, such behaviour I for one find intolerable. | hiddendepths
15/3/2012 10:46 | HD we have our opinions . | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 10:45 | lf - his is in a retirement home - or jail. | hiddendepths
15/3/2012 10:40 | Retailronnie .JL and his team bought BULLABULLING for peanuts .. If he was given a roll on the Technical / Development side i am sure he as he has proved would be a great asset . As we all know he needs to leave the public speaking /running of the company and finance to others . Everyone has their place . | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 10:28 | All very touching. Brings a tear to my eye. will be crying with joy if the share price gets to 60p+ though. I have to say Mr Black's enthusiam has never wavered and he has always backed his view with his hard earned cash. | grum3still
15/3/2012 10:25 | Fair point cb505! Guess he's trying to take some credit and respectability out a poor result. "JL imho could be a great asset to us ." like the lib dems are to the conservatives? Deliverers of bad news. I don't know Paul - I try not to get involved with company investor relations - but imo they've negotiated and behaved very well to achieve an excellent result. | retailronnie
15/3/2012 10:10 | Paul, I have been fairly critical of both AZX and GGG in the recent past. With hindsight I certainly did not expect the merger/takeover negotiations to take twelve months and to be as publicly tortuous as it was. That said, it is now clearly out of the way and once again, we can concentrate on delivering an exceptional well located asset. My very best wishes for the future. I have great hopes for NewCo and every belief that the share price growth predicted some time ago will be achieved. I haven't sold or traded a share as I am sure you are aware, and still have an appreciable holding in the company. Here's to 2012 and 2013, our champagne years! Tony | tonester30ccfc
15/3/2012 09:58 | JL imho could be a great asset to us . | londonfinancial
15/3/2012 09:40 | Maybe the new guys will vote him out with a show of hands - LOL | temujiin
15/3/2012 09:38 | Top bloke is PM, really good at keeping pi's informed and he never lost faith that this wouldn't be anything other than a great sucess. It's been a long old haul, CCG - GGG - BGL, but it looks like being well worth it. Something to be said for fundamentals investing provided the fundamentals are good. Looking fwd to seeing BGL burst on the screen tomorrow :) | temujiin
15/3/2012 09:37 | RR... "Very strong statements to make. Doesn't sound like he's slipping away into the background though post takeover." Did nt that Italian Captain make similar sounding statements as he jump off the ship ! JL is a complete tool who has held back investors in both AZX and GGG ,he f2cked up giving an asset away, then spent the rest of his time trying to hold back Ggg and make things difficult . However ,he never took his eye off his own generous options. Maybe the new guys will vote him out with a show of hands | chrisbarker505 |
