"Trading in the second half of the year to date has been profitable and in line
with market expectations. The Company intends to announce its audited final
results for the year to 31 December 2006 in late March 2007."

Profiting...I've posted on the relevant WHI bb..best wishes.

GETM firming a little on the bid...real progress should flush out new buyers imho...it was ever thus!

O/T potential 25-50% short term upside with MMC imho...

Apologies for o/t but Scotswhaehae are you still in WHI and if so what do you rate their potential please? Was in at 80 and sold at 120.

Happy with getm as convinced will at least rise 50% in next few months due to low rating and the strength of director's buys.

Wiganer, great policy of waiting for a clear rise from the bottom to begin - hard to time that right, but you may be spot on!

I've made a bit of a speciality over past year of catching falling knife telecoms shares too early, notably SIN, which I first bought at 60p, and BRST at 29p.
But in both cases I then watched and managed to load up around the capitulation bottom, and ended up making a nice profit on both.
GETM strikes me as a very similar situation, but this time I sat on my hands till I could see a clear trend reversal/bounce as happened with both SIN and BRST.
So, am very happy to have bought in a week ago at 11.5p and expect to see 20p in within a few months. Have to say I'm not convinced 35p is in sight, but you never know.- the Director buying is VERY encouraging.

pymadams, agree with you in all respects, most important factor for me is the large buying by directors as you have said...looking good as a strong recovery play on a battered share price...good luck!

We know that the share price has been disastrous over the last 6 months. A collapse from c. 80 to 35, a gradual decline from there to 22-23 and then fell of the cliff to a selling price of 5p with a horrible spread to 9p to buy.

Since then the news from the company has been neither good nor bad. Yet we have seen huge buying from the directors.

You can do whatever fundamental analysis you like based on the information available to the investing public, yet the message has to be that the directors see upside from the recent low buying point they have managed. If you had bought these at 7p and the price goes to 14p that is still a 100 percent increase.

I bought mine at 35p so I am not filled with confidence that I will get that money back, yet I really should buy more because they are so low now. If I had 50% of my original stake lying around with no better home than that is what I would do.

The spread has shrunk considerably: it was sell at 9 and buy at 5, now it is 12.5 to 11.5 so I could argue that I have not lost too much by waiting and that the risk has reduced.

Anybody else see this radically differently?

Fundamentally, it all depends on what earnings potential you see from even a slightly rejeuvenated business and then what PER it might be placed on...

I have my own ideas....which is why I think these could double fairly swiftly...

Good luck all!

I'm not normally one for charts, but I agree Wiganer, that this one looks very nice, compounded by the recent director buying...

If it can break the 12p resistance level then things start to get really interesting.

slightly off topic....do Australians say "...and this heads South" if a share is expected to rise?

12.5 buys starting to add up, only a matter of time before the recent director buys sink in and this heads north IMO.

Yep...looks that way...

And when/if we find out who bought the 2 million late on Friday, we will have an even better feeling as to how far these can go...

Heavy recent Director buying, a very recent earnings enhancing acquisition for cash, strong cash balances and excellent cash flow characteristics, and the presence of the shrewd Pierce Casey on the board (who is still buying shares) adds up to a possible big winner imho...
