Strange, a ramper like you would post up the normal line "just topped up", but you didn't because you hadn't.Your drowning badly and locked in for years but can't admit it, least of all to yourself!.Good LuckDD

Yes, the more it goes up, the more I'm down - should never have been buying heavily down at 25p - should have taken your advice - all those issues with this that and the other clearly weren't already in the depressed price.

Actually I wasn't looking in the mirror and didn't say your name 3 times, so what on earth has happened ?

Quiet at the back there please !

Anyway it looks like DiscoDave is not going to get his wish, as I have not shat a pregnant hedgehog and so we are looking at a nice bowl formation, rather than a nasty bowel formation.

We lose the DJ and acquire a Comedian (in the loosest sense of the word) :-)

fwiw the resistance levels don't look very resistive.

are you referring to the chart or to ale? certainly my resistance levels aren't very resistive when it comes to the latter

Absolutely a pint pot formation in Nov.
Reminds me I've run out of Hobgoblin.

I think the small udder in August may have been significant.

Currently in pecking hen formation.
;-)

I stuck in on CR's bowl thread a few days ago.

fwiw the resistance levels don't look very resistive.

have a look at early noveeber in the long term chart above. looks like a definite 'pint pot' formation to me. i don't know if it's a buying signal for the share, but it's definitely a buying signal for me to go down the pub!

When decent money starts moving into GTC i.e. Volume rises, maybe on some good news or just realisation that the cycle has changed this is gonna blow
The big director buy is a good sign and even better IMO the lovely bowl formation
I have been studying bowls for a few yrs and had some success in recognising them, in fact it's a great way to time a recovery investment

The bowl pattern is a rounded pattern that gives a buy signal when the stock price exceeds the lip of the "bowl." The breakout should occur on high volume, at least doubling the low volume from the dip. This pattern typically takes a long time, six months to a year, to develop and once the breakout occurs, the stock should rise to the equivalent of the price from the bottom to the "lip" of the bowl

Taking a look at a longer term chart for GTC you can clearly see this bowl forming

Does seem quite sensitive to small volumes. Perhaps a lot of spare shares got hoovered up towards the end of the summer.

I think the really interesting is that despite the share price jump of 10% very few shares have changed hands

I think there are 3 new things in that AGM statement:

"We are ending the calendar year having secured a new sale of Globe phase-two to a super-major"

"contracted by the UK Oil and Gas Authority (the "OGA") to develop and implement a GIS information management strategy"

"In addition, having won our first contract within the nuclear industry in the previous financial year, Getech is currently at an advanced stage of discussions to expand on this work."

Hopefully some numbers will appear later in the financial year.

I see that 'spatial data' is involved in the OGA project. I take some comfort from the fact that they haven't done an RNS mentioning BIG DATA, which hopefully shows they are not given to hype ;-)

Well it was one of the nicest bottoms I've seen for a long while, nice and smooth with a gradual settling of the share price.

So I averaged down a lot when it flattened out, hopefully will be in profit soon, but going to ride it to wherever it gets to, given the model has slightly changed and in a few years they might be a lot less dependent on immediate exploration spend. Plus if they get some extra business as a result of others going under...

Bought as a cyclical play, but might not end up being that.

well jump the market makers agree with you.

My issue is when do we get to 60p?

Unless I missed something in the finals, there's some positive new stuff in that AGM statement.

It was a director Buy

How he managed that price I don't know but there is now a clear Bowl formation in the chart. That is quite a considerable purchase too
Should I wait for next week to get some more? Erm.
